Accepting a New Mission

The news of Gaino's return spread throughout Planet Vegeta. What they found inconceivable was that Gaino, who had been unable to sense ki, had returned completely unscathed.

Seeing that Gaino had appeased Laiya, Bum and Tasha said to her, "Laiya, why haven't you invited Brother Gaino inside to eat?"

"Oh, right! Come on, Brother Gaino, you're back and Mom made a whole table of food, let's go!" With that, Laiya grabbed Gaino's hand and pulled him into the house.

Watching the two little ones go inside, Tasha said, "I really hope Gaino grows up quickly so that our Laiya can marry him."

Bum replied, "You're quite impatient. Gaino is only five, and you're already thinking about marrying off your daughter."

Tasha said, "I have a feeling that Gaino will become the most powerful warrior among the Saiyans."

"Did you sense Gaino's ki?" Tasha asked.

Bum replied, "I did. Although it's very weak, there is definitely ki present."

That day, in the training room, two figures were constantly colliding. White sonic booms erupted as the sounds of combat rang out—it was Laiya and Gaino sparring.

Laiya felt quite frustrated. She hadn't expected that after one mission, her Brother Gaino's combat power would become so strong that he could match her. Previously, she had completely dominated him.

A moment later, a figure flew backward—it was Laiya. Gaino dashed to the ground and caught her.

At this moment, Bum walked in and said, "Laiya, Gaino, the King requests your presence at the palace."

On the way, Gaino asked, "Dad, what does King Vegeta want with us?"

Bum said, "I don't know. We'll find out when we get there."

They arrived at the palace and looked up at King Vegeta on the high throne. Bum said, "My King, I have brought Laiya and Gaino."

King Vegeta said: Gaino, I hear your current battle power is on par with Laiya's, so I shall entrust this next mission to you and Laiya.

Gaino said: My King, please assign the mission.

You are to conquer Planet Rad. You have five years; after five years, I want to see this planet become territory of the Saiyans.

Gaino and Laiya said: Yes, we obey our King's command.

Gaino was overjoyed; he could finally leave Planet Vegeta. Gaino and Laiya boarded a spaceship and set off toward the target planet.
