The Super Saiyan Broly

Gaino saved Laiya in the nick of time, and they arrived at a planet not far from the desolate one.

Gaino's explosive blast had completely obliterated the desolate planet, turning it into cosmic dust.

Beside Gaino, Laiya watched the planet turn into fireworks in the distance, her throat moving involuntarily as a gulping sound echoed—the sound of Laiya swallowing her saliva.

Gaino gave Laiya a sharp flick to the forehead and scolded her: "You didn't even try to dodge when the attack came. Do you have any idea how dangerous that was?"

Laiya snapped out of it after the flick and said to Gaino: "Brother Gaino, wasn't your attack just now a bit too overpowered?"

"My ultimate move was like paper in front of yours; it crumbled the moment it touched."

"Don't try to change the subject. I'm talking about why you didn't dodge when the attack came. Don't you have Instant Transmission? In that situation, you could have easily used Instant Transmission to move out of the range of my attack."

Laiya replied: "Brother Gaino, I was so shocked by your attack that I completely forgot about that. It won't happen again."

Gaino said: "You're still thinking about 'next time'? There wouldn't have been a next time. If I hadn't reacted quickly, you would have turned into cosmic dust just like that planet."

"Of course. Why else would I have saved them? I couldn't care less about Paragus's life or death! But this kid? I am very interested in him."

"Fine! Since you're so interested, I'll take you there." Laiya placed her fingers on her forehead, sensing Broly's ki.

"Brother Gaino, take my hand. I'll take you there now."

Gaino placed his hand on Laiya's, and with a whoosh, they vanished from the planet.

They arrived on a planet whose name was unknown. Looking around, Gaino said: "Not bad. There shouldn't be any problem for two Saiyans to survive here."

Gaino sensed the area and said to Laiya: "Laiya, there's a ki over there. Let's go; that should be Broly's aura."

"Mm, okay." Laiya nodded.

They instantly arrived at the site where the aura was erupting. Gaino saw a young Saiyan fighting a Dinosaur.

The Saiyan was filled with a violent aura. He ignored the Dinosaur's attacks entirely, choosing to meet them head-on. Broly fired a green energy blast directly at the Dinosaur.

As the attack reached the Dinosaur, it swung its massive tail and swatted Broly's blast away.

Broly lunged forward, grabbed the Dinosaur's tail with both hands, and lifted the beast with his immense strength. He began spinning the Dinosaur around and around, and after countless rotations, he let go, sending the Dinosaur flying like a cannonball toward a mountain peak.

The massive body smashed through several peaks, leaving the Dinosaur dazed and seeing stars.

Seizing the opportunity, Broly rushed to the Dinosaur's belly and punched straight through it. The Dinosaur's eyes went hollow, and it slowly stopped breathing.

Seeing that he had finished off his opponent, Broly hoisted the massive Dinosaur onto his shoulder and began walking in a certain direction.

Gaino said to Laiya: "What do you think, Laiya? This little guy isn't bad, is he?"

"Mm, he's alright! To know how to use his wits to fight at such a young age—he's quite capable."

"That's not what I meant. Did you feel the aura he emitted while fighting?"

"I felt it. It was a ki full of violence. It feels like this little guy was born for destruction."

"So, Brother Gaino, you mean to have this little guy train with us so he can learn to control his ki?"
