"Okay, since you've made up your mind, Gaino, let's bring this guy along with us! I think aside from you and me, there probably isn't anyone who can subdue this little guy right now."
"Sure. Let's get right to it, then. We'll go find Broly," Gaino said.
Gaino and Laiya flew toward Broly. Before long, they spotted him walking toward his home with a dinosaur slung over his shoulder.
Gaino and Laiya appeared in front of Broly, startling him.
Broly saw Gaino and Laiya and asked, "Who are you?" Then he began to power up again. Seeing this, Gaino stirred the bloodline within his body, unleashing a powerful pressure that bore down on Broly.
The berserk aura emanating from Broly vanished as soon as it touched Gaino's pressure.
Broly instantly felt a powerful pressure weigh down on him. His bloodline felt thoroughly suppressed, as if a subject had come face-to-face with an emperor. The pressure from his bloodline stopped Broly from flying into a rage.
Seeing that Broly had calmed down, Gaino said, "Don't be nervous. We're Saiyans, just like you." Then Gaino and Laiya swished their tails.
Seeing their tails, Broly relaxed a little.
"You're Broly, right? Is anyone else on this planet besides you?" Gaino asked.
"The natives on this planet were wiped out by me. My father used to live here with me, but on the night of the full moon, I seemed to have undergone the Great Ape Transformation. When I woke up, my father was gone," Broly said.
It seemed that Broly had lost consciousness during his Great Ape Transformation and killed his own father. But that was for the best. Gaino had come here for Broly, and his father would have been of little use to him.
Normally, all Saiyans underwent the Great Ape Transformation and went on a rampage under the full moon. However, this only applied to low-class warriors. Elite warriors like Laiya stayed conscious even after transforming.
Broly must have been unable to control the energy inside him, causing him to lose consciousness during his Great Ape Transformation and wreak havoc without restraint. In the end, he had accidentally killed his own father, Paragus.
"So that means you're alone now?"
"That's right," Broly said.
"Then come with us. We can not only make you stronger, but also help you gain perfect control over the energy inside you. What do you think? Consider it."

"Okay. If you can help me control the energy inside me, I'll go with you."
"Good. You've made a wise choice," Gaino said.
"Then you'll have to wait a little. It took me a lot of effort to kill this big guy, and it's my lunch. I'm really hungry. I'll come with you after I've eaten my fill."
Gaino looked at the huge creature on Broly's shoulder and said, "In that case, we'll join you for a meal. We haven't eaten either."
"Sure, come on."
Gaino walked over to Broly and lifted the huge creature from his shoulder with one hand. "Let's go. This will be faster," he said.
Watching Gaino carry such a massive creature in one hand, Broly murmured, "He's so strong. That huge thing looks like a toy in his hands. He can toss it around however he wants."
Gaino carried the dinosaur straight ahead. Laiya came over to Broly and said, "Little brother, there's nothing surprising about it. Nothing he does is out of the ordinary. You're a little slow to accept new things, aren't you?"
"Once you're with us, you'll see what a monster he is. The berserk energy inside you is just a little extra energy to him. Still, compared with other Saiyans of the same level, your energy surpasses that of most of them."
After saying that, Laiya headed forward too.
When they reached the place where Broly lived, Gaino set down the dinosaur and said to Broly, "Looks like you don't have anywhere to cook here."
"Laiya, go find some branches. We'll have barbecue."
Hearing that Gaino was going to make barbecue, Laiya quickly replied, "Sure! I'll get right on it."
Laiya vanished from where she stood in the blink of an eye, leaving Broly staring in amazement. Gaino explained, "Don't be curious. It's just a secret technique."
While they were talking, Laiya appeared in front of Broly with a big bundle of dry branches.
"Gaino, look. Are these branches enough?"
Gaino looked at the firewood in Laiya's hands and said, "That's enough. I'll make the barbecue once the fire's going."
"Okay, I'll get the fire started."
When it came to barbecue, Laiya remembered the taste of Gaino's cooking all too well. Even Beerus, the God of Destruction, and Whis, the Angel, had praised his barbecue skills as second to none.
Hearing the unfamiliar term, Broly asked blankly, "Barbecue? What's that? Is it good?"
"Little brother Broly, Gaino's barbecue is second to none!" Laiya said. "Even Beerus, the God of Destruction, and Whis, the Angel, have praised his cooking."
"You're in luck, kid. Plenty of Saiyans on Planet Saiyan haven't even tasted Gaino's barbecue. I can't believe you got this treatment the first time you met him. You've got to admit, you're really lucky."
While Laiya and Broly were talking, Gaino had already put the meat over the fire. Before long, the savory aroma filled the air, bringing their conversation to a halt.
They hurried over to Gaino and stared at the barbecue in his hands, their mouths watering uncontrollably.
Seeing their faces, Gaino said, "Back up a little. You're about to drool all over my barbecue. Don't worry, there's plenty to go around. You'll all get some today."
Once Gaino's barbecue was ready, he handed it straight to Laiya and Broly. They ate with satisfied expressions on their faces.
The spoils of Broly's hunt dwindled as the three big eaters devoured them. At last, all three rubbed their bulging bellies and lay back on the ground, gazing at the sky in contentment.
