Bella saw her men being quickly wiped out by Laiya and the others. She wanted to help them fight, but Gaino wasn't about to let her get past him so easily.
Gaino tightened his grip. Bella's body rose and fell with his hand as he swung her around several times, then hurled her straight toward Planet Peida.
With a crash, Bella's body slammed into Planet Peida, gouging out a deep crater.
Gaino looked down at Bella in the crater and said, "Bella, get up! I know you can't be beaten that quickly."
As he spoke, the entire crater began to shake. "Aah! Hah!" Bella shot out of it in an instant.
Bella released all her fighting power in an instant and shouted at Gaino, "You bastard, you're unforgivable! You deserve to die!"
"Fine, then die!"
"Ah, hah! You're really pissing me off! Take this!" With a whoosh, Bella's fist shot toward Gaino. As he watched her attack come at him, Gaino raised a hand.
"Take my full-power attack! I'll—hit you, hit you, hit you! Take that!" Gaino blocked all of Bella's attacks with a single hand.
"How is this possible? How can you be so strong?" Bella said.
"Why wouldn't it be possible? Didn't Slug say that there are plenty of experts in this universe? Compared to the truly powerful ones, I'm nothing."
"I'm just wondering: you can't even break through my defenses, yet you claim that you Space Pirates can go wherever you want in the universe. That's just a frog in a well, dreaming of the sky!"
Hearing this, Bella said, "Kid, don't get too cocky. You may be strong, but you're nothing in front of our boss."
"You mean that Pirate King?" Gaino asked.
"That's right. Our boss is the Pirate King, a true powerhouse."
"Great! If he can come here, I'd like to see just how powerful the Pirate King is."
"Haha, kid, you didn't know? We Space Pirates came to the South Galaxy on a mission this time. We're just the vanguard, and our boss is right behind us. After all the time we've wasted here, he should be arriving any moment. Then you'll be dead!"
Gaino paid no attention to Bella's claim that the Pirate King was about to arrive. He'd noticed that the Space Pirates had come to the South Galaxy on a mission.
Gaino immediately asked, "You said you have a mission. What is it?"
"That's none of your business, kid. If you know what's good for you, clear a path for me, and I'll let bygones be bygones."
"I'm asking what your mission is. Why are you spouting all this nonsense?"
"Fine, kid. In that case, I'll play with you a little longer."
"Unfortunately, I'm done playing." Before Gaino could finish speaking, his body turned into a blur. In the next instant, his attack was right in front of Bella.
Seeing Gaino's attack reach her in an instant, Bella hurriedly raised her arms to block it. But before she could, Gaino's fist slammed into her stomach.
Bella shot backward with a whoosh, blood spraying from her mouth and tracing a long crimson streak through the air.
"How is this possible? How could I fail to block his attack?"
Bella was still hurtling through the air, but Gaino had already appeared behind her. He kicked her hard, sending her flying again.
"I gave you a chance, but you didn't take it. Now you can die."
Gaino attacked Bella from every direction, leaving her no chance to fight back. He appeared beneath her and drove a knee into her. Bella cried out as blood sprayed from her mouth once more.
Gaino's blows sent Bella shooting straight into the sky.
"Now I'll send you to hell."
Light blazed from Gaino's hands as he said, "Take this move!"
"Take my Burst Bombardment!" Two golden beams of energy blasted toward Bella.
Watching Gaino's energy waves hurtle toward her, Bella cried, "No! No! I can't die!" But the energy waves swallowed her whole.
Bella perished, her body reduced to dust.
The instant Gaino destroyed Bella, a powerful energy rushed toward them.
Laiya appeared beside Gaino and said, "Brother Gaino, someone incredibly powerful is coming."
"Mm. I can feel it too."
Bardock, Broly, and Slug also came to Gaino's side.
"Brother Gaino, there's a big one coming," Broly said.
"Yeah. This opponent is strong. Slug, have the Saiyan Legion leave at once. The one approaching may be the Pirate King Bella mentioned. You should get the others to take cover."
Slug said, "Lord Gaino, we may be weak right now, but not one of us will run away. Besides, we're not afraid of death."
Hearing Slug say this, Gaino replied, "I didn't expect you to have so much backbone."
"Fine. Then let's see just how powerful this Pirate King of the universe is."
A colossal spaceship appeared before Gaino and the others. A powerful aura surged toward them, and the fierce waves of energy battered them.
Gaino released his own powerful aura to hold it back. Then a voice came from inside the ship and addressed him. "So Bella was killed by you."
"That's right. I killed him. You're the Pirate King, aren't you? Since you're here, come out and show yourself!"
"Hahaha! It's been years since anyone asked to see me. Everyone else trembles at the sound of my name. I never expected you to be unafraid—and even ask to meet me. Very well! I'll grant your request."
Suddenly, a figure appeared before Gaino and the others. The first thing they noticed wasn't his appearance, but the tail behind him.
Gaino, Laiya, and the others said together, "A Saiyan!"
"Oh, you recognized that I'm a Saiyan. That's right, I am. My name is Turles. I wonder if any of you have heard of me."
"Turles, the evil Saiyan," Bardock said.
"Bardock, what is an evil Saiyan? How can there be a Saiyan this powerful among our people?"
"He's an outcast. He was exceptionally powerful at birth, with a battle power over forty thousand higher than Broly's. At the time, Planet Vegeta wasn't ruled by King Vegeta yet, so Turles continued to live there."
