Background / History

Yu is one of the Nine Dragon God Guards: second-generation Dragon Kings created to protect the Dragon God. She remained in prolonged slumber until the System Treasure awakened the guards. Her loyalty is directed absolutely toward Long Jinyu as the Dragon God’s inheritor 117.

When Long Jinyu awakened his Ultimate Life power, Yu appeared before Di Tian, Bi Ji, Mu En, Tuoba Xi, and the elders. Di Tian and Bi Ji recognized her authority and withdrew, while Yu ordered the witnesses to keep what they had seen confidential 105.

After Long Jinyu was injured and lost consciousness following Nether Douluo’s attack, Yu tended to him in the special ward of Yanhuang Lingyun Medical Mansion. She formally identified herself as the Emerald Dragon King Guard and expressed guilt for not reaching him sooner 107. She later explained the circumstances of his injury, declined Mu En’s Dragon Dan on his behalf, and presented him with protective treasures 108.
