Qian Daoliu received Qian Renxue's report about Luo Chen, whose appearance, Six-Winged Angel resonance, and Death Spider Emperor martial soul raised the possibility of an unknown connection to the Qian family. He consulted Golden Crocodile Douluo but prohibited rash action and ordered a discreet investigation, specifically keeping the matter from Bibi Dong. 8

When Luo Chen was brought to the Worship Hall, Qian Daoliu met him while praying before the Six-Winged Angel statue. The statue's unprecedented reaction—enveloping Luo Chen in holy light and merging that light into him—caused Qian Daoliu to prioritize Luo Chen's connection to the Angel God over confirming his bloodline. 14

After determining Luo Chen showed no abnormality, Qian Daoliu placed him under his protection, housed him in the Worship Hall, and ordered the other Worships to treat him as they treated Qian Renxue. 15 Luo Chen later addressed him as “Grandfather,” strengthening Qian Daoliu's belief that the boy belonged to the Qian family. 16
