Background / History
Yu Xiaogang approached the Nuoding City Junior Soul Master Academy intending to investigate Tang San, whom he suspected possessed Twin Martial Souls. He instead became fixated on Luo Chen after sensing the boy's unusual qualities, questioning him about his martial soul, innate soul power, family, and origin. 2
After Luo Chen refused his overtures, Yu Xiaogang displayed Luo Sanpao and his two century-level soul rings, then proposed a contest: if he won, Luo Chen would become his disciple. Luo Chen challenged the unfair terms and demanded Yu Xiaogang's Soul Tool and 150 Gold Soul Coins should he lose. 2 3
