Even though Roshi had completed his partial Tailed Beast transformation, he still could not escape the fate of being pummeled by Rasa.
This was pure physical assault, something that no amount of ninjutsu resistance or powerful chakra could withstand. Fortunately, the partial Tailed Beast state was similar to Susanoo, with chakra forming the outermost layer, which was the only reason he wasn't hammered to death by Rasa.
"ROAR!"
Roshi grew even more enraged. With a thunderous roar, he lost his sanity completely and entered the full Tailed Beast transformation, clenching his fists and pounding his chest incessantly!
His consciousness had been taken over by the Four-Tails. Now, its target was everything within its line of sight; it sought to vent the fury of having been sealed for so many years.
It slammed its fists into the earth, and chakra surged out, transforming into magma that spread rapidly in all directions. The terrain was gradually being reshaped into a sea of lava.
Rasa was fine sitting on his Gold Dust throne, but Pakura was in danger. She could only retreat continuously, attempting to flee the scene and escape the Four-Tails' range of attack.
Rasa glanced at Pakura, his Electromagnetic Force shifting slightly. A sheet of metal paved with Gold Dust flew out and stopped before her.
"Get on." His tone allowed for no refusal.
Pakura had initially hesitated, but upon hearing this, she stepped forward and stood on the Gold Dust carpet. She stomped twice; it was solid, as stable as walking on flat ground.
Rasa brought Pakura to his side and pressed her onto the other side of the Gold Dust throne. The throne was large enough that even with two people sitting on it, there was no physical contact.
Pakura leaned outward, and remembering something, she suddenly asked, "By the way, didn't you used to love flying on Gold Dust? Why haven't I seen you use that trick lately?"
"It's a long story. The maneuverability is too poor, but there's no helping it right now." Rasa manipulated the Gold Dust throne, slowly rising into the air to escape the lava-covered earth created by the Four-Tails.
Flying was actually quite simple: by gathering metal particles beneath one's feet and moving the metal, indirect flight could be achieved. This was an ability that both Rasa and his son possessed in the original story.
However, this type of flight had too many limitations; the human body could not withstand it at high speeds, and the maneuverability was abysmal.
Compared to flying by directly manipulating magnetic fields, it was like a beggar's version of the Somersault Cloud, and compared to the Flight Technique, the gap was far too wide.
The nearby terrain was completely altered in the blink of an eye. The Four-Tails clenched its massive fists and hammered them into the lava-covered earth. The lava began to boil and churn violently before erupting into the sky like a volcanic eruption.
Lava Style: Flower-Fruit Mountain!
"Want to fly?" Rasa suddenly turned his head and asked.
"Eh?" Pakura was slightly startled, confused.
Rasa smiled. Without waiting for her answer, he manipulated a massive amount of metal particles to wrap around the Gold Dust throne in an egg shape, and their vision suddenly plunged into darkness.
Several metal pillars orbited the giant egg.
The erupting lava slammed into the metal egg, instantly launching it into the sky, reenacting the story of Kars, becoming a star that no longer had to worry.
Rasa split his focus, simultaneously restraining the molecular movement of the eggshell to prevent it from overheating, while manipulating the metal pillars to carry them into the sky.
As they ascended to a height of a thousand meters using the force of the impact, Rasa retracted a portion of the eggshell. Their vision cleared, sunlight poured in, and a fierce wind hit their faces.
"Are we running away?" Pakura shouted loudly; the wind was too strong to do otherwise.
Rasa shook his head and countered, "Have you ever heard of a stick technique that descends from the heavens?"
"What did you say? I can't hear you!"
If she couldn't hear, then she couldn't hear.
Rasa focused his gaze on the Four-Tails on the ground. He could only see a faint black dot, but the immense chakra it emitted could be felt even from here.
Prepare to be crushed!
He spread his Electromagnetic Force, supporting the Gold Dust throne and the metal pillars as they continued to fly upward—one thousand meters, two thousand meters...
The Shinobi World was ultimately different from Earth. When they reached about five thousand meters, Rasa felt as if he had touched the troposphere; continuing to fly higher would put their lives at risk.
Analyzing the Four-Tails' current position from its chakra fluctuations, he used his Electromagnetic Force to adjust the positive and negative poles of the four metal pillars.
He then applied an acceleration, pushing them to supersonic speeds, breaking the sound barrier as they plummeted toward the Four-Tails.
The initial velocity was at least 350m/s. With the pull of gravity, the final speed would only grow faster. From the sky to the ground, the five-thousand-meter distance and the ten seconds of travel time were enough to push the kinetic energy to a higher level!
The Four-Tails, finding no enemies within its line of sight, felt the loneliness of the powerful and roared at the sky, only to see four metal pillars descending from above.
Before it could react, four thunderous booms echoed as the pillars struck true, pinning it to the spot. Its full Tailed Beast form, composed of chakra, showed signs of dissipating.
A shrill, full-throated scream erupted, reaching the ears of Rasa and Pakura over ten seconds later. It was rumored that a lion's roar could travel several kilometers; they hadn't expected the Four-Tails to be capable of the same.
"We hit it! Did we win?" Pakura asked, trembling with excitement as she grabbed Rasa's arm.
"Not yet." Rasa narrowed his eyes, adjusting the magnetic poles of the final metal pillar beside him so that its bottom pole was the opposite of the top poles of the four pillars below.
Like poles repel, opposite poles attract.
He then pushed his Electromagnetic Force to the limit, applying acceleration to the final and largest metal pillar.
The metal pillar, weighing over two hundred kilograms, broke the sound barrier and descended from the sky at a speed of at least 800m/s.
Because gravity was added from top to bottom, the speed increased rapidly. When the opposing magnetic poles aligned with the four pillars pinning the Four-Tails, the speed surged several times over.
Rasa had a premonition that if his Electromagnetic Force Precision could reach Lv2 and he developed technology related to Electromagnetic Propulsion, he wouldn't need to go through such trouble to use this move.
For now, since he didn't want to use his lightning-based abilities but still wanted to capture Roshi alive, he had no choice but to knock off a space-based kinetic weapon.
"BOOM!"
The metal pillar slammed into the Four-Tails, the immense kinetic energy dispersing all its chakra and releasing a powerful shockwave that blew away the sand for a considerable radius.
The earth trembled.
The Four-Tails was completely crushed, its chakra dissipating as the surrounding lava gradually cooled into volcanic ash.
Roshi lay unconscious in the center of the crater.
Manipulating his throne of Gold Dust, Rasa descended slowly. As he neared the ground, Pakura jumped off as if fleeing, walking over to Roshi's side to nudge him with the tip of her boot.
There was no movement, but she could sense he was still alive.
"So this is a jinchuriki; what incredible vitality," Pakura remarked.
Rasa manipulated the metal particles, using the Electromagnetic Force to accelerate them before firing them into the joints of Roshi's body, right where the bones connected.
He then fashioned a perforated coffin out of Gold Dust and sealed Roshi inside.
Patting Pakura on the shoulder, he said, "Let's go. The mission was a success, and we even had an unexpected harvest."
This time, Pakura didn't complain about Rasa taking liberties. Following behind him, she asked curiously, "That move from earlier, the one that fell from the sky—what was it called?"
"The Armstrong Electromagnetic Force Accelerated Orbital Kinetic Armstrong Cannon."
"That's a long name..."
