Naruto Uzumaki chased after the middle-aged man, hoping to ask a few more questions.
Jiraiya reached out and pulled Naruto back, saying gravely,
"We're leaving right now, Naruto. That snake was probably the same one you saw!"
With that, he quickened his pace and continued searching for Tsunade.
A short while later, they arrived at a stretch of ruins.
Jiraiya glanced around a few times, then turned and left.
Naruto Uzumaki took a closer look at the rubble. Had that snake done this too?
Lin Mu looked thoughtful as well. From what he remembered, Tsunade had shattered this wall with a single punch.
The power of that Monster Strength really was terrifying... Since Tsunade had already left, her initial negotiations with Orochimaru must have ended too, right?
Lin Mu mulled it over, then put it out of his mind and hurried after Jiraiya.
His strength had indeed improved, but he was still nowhere near capable of intervening in a battle between Kage Level fighters like the Sannin.
All he needed to do was stay close to Jiraiya.
Once he became stronger, he would naturally be able to intervene in such matters. It wouldn't be too late to deal with them then.
"What gives? You've been rushing me along this whole time. Where are we even going?"
Naruto Uzumaki grumbled as usual, not quite understanding Jiraiya's urgency.
Still, he knew something serious must have happened. After a few complaints, he hurried along.
