One Punch Did That? A Jonin!?

Could Yeyu still get away in this situation?

Yeyu looked at Mizuki in the tree.

He asked, "Teacher Mizuki, are you planning to become a rogue ninja?"

Mizuki looked at Yeyu, displeased. "Brat, what's with that attitude? How dare you talk to me like that?"

Mizuki still tried to put on a teacher's air of authority and intimidate Yeyu.

But how could Yeyu be intimidated by the aura of a mere Chunin?

"Teacher Mizuki, it seems you really are planning to become a rogue ninja."

"Do you think you've already won?"

Mizuki drew his kunai and said coldly, "Kid, you can blame your bad luck for living here."

Iruka shouted, "Yeyu, run! You're no match for him!"

In Iruka's eyes, Yeyu was just a trainee ninja who had recently graduated from the Ninja Academy.

He didn't even count as a full-fledged ninja.

He had only mastered the Three Body Technique. Mizuki would kill him with ease.

But Yeyu didn't listen to Iruka.

He said calmly, "Teacher Mizuki, I'll ask you one last time. Do you really want to become a rogue ninja?"

Mizuki looked at Yeyu with a frown, unable to understand why Yeyu kept asking him that.

Furious, he roared at Yeyu, "Yes! I'm becoming a rogue ninja! What are you going to do about it? You think you can arrest me?"

Yeyu didn't ask anything else. He only murmured to himself, "Good!"

At those words, Mizuki suddenly felt a terrifying chill.

"Boom!"

"Rumble!"

A streak of light flashed past.

Mizuki suddenly felt agony throughout his body.

The next moment, he was on the ground.

The earth had been blasted by tremendous force, breaking apart and splitting into countless cracks that spread for more than ten meters.

A crater several meters wide had appeared beneath Mizuki. He lay in its center, covered in blood.

Mizuki felt only excruciating pain before losing consciousness.

Yeyu stood beside him, steam rising from his hand.

His expression was calm, and he didn't even glance at Mizuki.

He slowly walked out of the crater.

The sudden scene left Iruka and Naruto stunned.

It wasn't until Yeyu closed his door that Iruka finally came to his senses.

"Y-Yeyu... Yeyu is actually this strong?"

Looking at the crater several meters wide and Mizuki's blood-covered body, Iruka naturally understood what had happened.

But Yeyu, who had been an average student at the Ninja Academy, had such terrifying strength.

Even Iruka probably wouldn't have fared much better than Mizuki against him, would he?

Naruto's mouth had fallen open in shock, and it still hadn't closed.

After a long while, he turned to Iruka, trembling all over. "Teacher Iruka, is... is that really Yeyu?"

"The quiet Yeyu who hardly ever spoke at school?"

"He wasn't that strong at school. He wasn't this strong at all during practical lessons."

"Or is Teacher Mizuki just really weak?"

If Mizuki, unconscious and sprawled on the ground, had heard Naruto say that, he probably would have flown into a rage.

Iruka shook his head. "No, Mizuki isn't weak. Yeyu is just that strong."

"He clearly never showed his true strength at the Ninja Academy."

"Perhaps he didn't think the students there were worth showing his true strength to."

Naruto wanted to say that he would definitely surpass Yeyu someday.

But looking at Mizuki, covered in blood, he couldn't bring himself to say it.

Could he punch the ground and make a crater that big?

"What would happen if he hit me with that punch?"

At the mere thought, Naruto quickly shook his head. "No, I wouldn't let him beat me up like that."

Naruto was afraid. For the first time, he was truly afraid.

In the past, although he had played pranks everywhere and often been caught, the Third Hokage had always protected him, so he had hardly ever been punished.

So what if the other ninja had complaints?

The Third Hokage wouldn't let them punish him, so he could do whatever he wanted.

He'd just let their scolding go in one ear and out the other, then do it again next time.

But seeing this bloody scene, Naruto finally understood all too clearly that if he provoked Yeyu, Yeyu really could beat him into a state just as awful.

Iruka gave Yeyu's house a long look, then went over to Mizuki.

Iruka's reasoning was simple: Yeyu was so strong that if the Third Hokage judged him by his performance at the Ninja Academy, he definitely wouldn't be assigned a good instructor.

If Iruka told the Third Hokage about Yeyu, the Third Hokage would surely give him special training.

As Yeyu's teacher, Iruka really did have his best interests at heart.

However.

Iruka hoisted Mizuki onto his shoulder and looked at Naruto. "Let's go, Naruto. Take the Scroll of Seals and come with me to see the Third Hokage."

Naruto looked at Yeyu's house, still unable to recover from what he had just seen.

And it had made him very afraid.

They arrived at the Hokage Office.

The Third Hokage saw Mizuki covered in blood, along with Iruka, who was also covered in blood, and assumed that Iruka had defeated Mizuki.

The Third Hokage first looked sternly at Naruto. "Naruto, do you know how dangerous the Scroll of Seals is?"

"It contains many dangerous forbidden techniques sealed away by the First. It must not be lost or taken outside the village."

Naruto still hadn't recovered from what had just happened.

He didn't pay attention while the Third Hokage was speaking.

The Third Hokage frowned slightly, unsure what was going on. "Naruto, are you listening?"

Naruto snapped back to his senses and stared blankly. "Huh? Grandpa Hiruzen, what did you say?"

Iruka hurriedly explained, "Lord Hokage, Naruto is just shaken up by what happened."

The Third Hokage glanced at Mizuki, who lay on the ground covered in blood.

He assumed Iruka meant that Naruto had been frightened by the battle between Iruka and Mizuki.

"Sigh. Naruto, once you become a ninja, you'll have to face things like this eventually."

Naruto was startled by what the Third Hokage said. "Huh? Grandpa Hiruzen, do you mean I'll meet someone like Yeyu in the future?"

"But... but will I really become as strong as him?"

The Third Hokage looked at Iruka in confusion.

He didn't even know Yeyu existed.

Yeyu had been too ordinary before, with average grades.

He hadn't been very active at the Ninja Academy either.

Iruka immediately told the Third Hokage what had just happened.

The Third Hokage was stunned when he heard the story.

"You're saying a student who just graduated from the Ninja Academy beat Mizuki like this?"

Even an ordinary Jonin might not be able to beat Mizuki into this state in an instant.

And he hadn't even used ninjutsu, only Taijutsu.

It was utterly unbelievable.
