Background / History
Su Hu was a standout among the younger generation of Su Family Fort. Born into a less prominent branch of the Su family, he regarded entry into the Martial Academy as his chance to change his family’s circumstances. His determination was also shaped by his younger sister’s lasting lung condition, which developed after his family could not afford treatment during her childhood illness. 6
After Su Hao relinquished his Martial Academy quota to Su Yue, Su Hu repeatedly came to Su Hao’s home demanding a spar. He hoped that defeating Su Hao would enable him to rally pressure within the family and claim a Martial Academy place for himself. 6

Su Hu repeatedly provoked Su Hao into a spar, seeking to establish that the Martial Academy opportunity should belong to the stronger disciple. Although Su Hao initially refused because the quota had already been transferred to Su Yue, he ultimately accepted to stop Su Hu from intimidating his family. 6
At the Su Family Fort martial arts arena, Su Hu used Heavy Mountain Fist and Blood Energy to contend with Su Hao. He initially matched Su Hao’s deliberately restrained power, but Su Hao exploited his rigid fighting patterns and struck his abdomen. 7
Refusing to admit defeat, Su Hu erupted his Blood Force and attempted to overpower Su Hao by grabbing his shoulders. Su Hao broke the hold with Crane Cry Force and struck Su Hu in the chest with a bird-beak hand. Su Hu later conceded that he had lost and accepted the result. 7 8
