Team 7 instructor

Tsunade was assigned as the jōnin instructor of Team 7, consisting of Tobirama Uchiha, Jiro Tanaka, and Ai Suzuki. She resented the assignment from the outset: Tobirama was both an Uchiha and bore the name of her second grandfather. Treating the team as future wartime combatants rather than children, she ordered them to attack her with killing intent and swiftly knocked out Jiro and Ai. 1

Tobirama’s Fire Release, shuriken-wire trap, and Lightning Release combination forced Tsunade to take him seriously. She identified him as a “monster” with a Three-Tomoe Sharingan, mastery of Fire and Lightning Release, and unusually refined battlefield instincts. 1
