Traveling inland under the name Gu Chen, he joined a caravan, met the hatchling Guga, and entered a dangerous Treasure Land, where he rescued a wounded woman before the caravan reached a bandit-controlled pass.

• Lu Zhen uncovered letters proving Yang Chongwu had sold displaced people to the Eastern Islanders and asked the Xiao Family to protect his relatives before going to rescue the prisoners.
• Lu Zhen freed hundreds of thousands of captives from the Black Prison, and Yang Chongwu sealed the Provincial Capital and sent soldiers after him.
• Shen Chongshan and other Grandmasters exposed Yang Chongwu’s crimes, and the vengeful souls destroyed the Ten Thousand People Umbrella as Lu Zhen killed him with the Nine Nether Flying Sword.

He secretly killed Wu Ya and Zhao Shan to claim the Mistheart Snow Lotus, then returned with the Panel’s rewards while Wu Tie began investigating their disappearance.

• A winged woman killed the Blood Mountain Bandit chiefs and saved Shen Yuehua’s caravan, and Lu Zhen followed Lei Zhen to Kunlun Three Sects City.
• Lu Zhen registered as Gu Chen for the Heaven-Supporting Sect assessment but was rejected for Inner Sect membership, so he joined the Treasure Land expedition with Lei Zhen and Qin Wei.
• Lu Zhen killed mist creatures in the gray fog, and the three companions exchanged Mirage Pearls for contribution points and became Mystic Sword Sect Inner Sect disciples.

He advanced to the Palm Realm in the treasure land and returned to the sect to prepare for the minor tournament, unaware that a hired killer was hunting him.

• Lu Zhen refused Xu Hu’s demand for tribute, met Jiang Li in the Kunlun Treasure Land, and received her sword-control manual after revealing his strength at Snow-Listening Cliff.
• When Heaven-Supporting Sect disciples tried to force Qin Wei and Lei Zhen out of their courtyard, Lu Zhen fought them, and Yan Kuan intervened to stop Commander Lin from arresting him.
• Yan Kuan announced that Lu Zhen would be a core disciple and secured ordinary Inner Sect places for Lei Zhen and Qin Wei, while Zhao Yunfeng and his allies objected.
