Ki!

Raditz hastily gathered up several Frogman corpses, plucked a few fruits from the trees, and hurried back. If he made Vegeta angry, he would be in for a miserable time.

In his anxiety, he suddenly accelerated. A white aura erupted around his body!

As his energy spilled outward, he felt the flow of Ki!

In Dragon Balls, true power was always expressed through Ki. The Saiyans' old fighting methods, relying on brute force, might have looked powerful, but they were actually less refined than the Earthlings' techniques. That was why Vegeta, after arriving on Earth, had even deigned to learn how to control Ki.

Sensing Ki marked the beginning of his progress! Raditz was overjoyed.

"You actually blocked it, Saiyan!" The tall Frogman glared with wide round eyes. The muscles all over his body bulged, and his bones crackled sharply.

Though his heart was full of doubt, his steps did not slow in the slightest as he charged at Raditz.

The violent explosion scorched the chaotic air currents, instantly heating everything around them as smoke and dust billowed.

Just as Raditz was secretly pleased with himself, the Frogman suddenly burst from the smoke, completely unharmed!

With a strange cry, he punched Raditz in the chest, blasting him over a hundred meters away.

A massive trench tore through the forest. Trees shattered, and the rumbling echoes continued without end.

Without giving him any time to rest, the Frogman leaped high into the air and dropped directly before Raditz. Raditz lay sprawled across the rocks, exhaling a long breath of stifled air from his chest.

"Whew, what a surprise. At last, an opponent I can really fight has appeared." A bead of sweat slid down Raditz's temple, but he smiled.

"You're smiling?"

"It's a Saiyan instinct! In battle, our blood boils, and we tremble with excitement!"

The Frogman seemed unable to understand. He raised his arm high and brought it down viciously, intending to flatten Raditz into a pulp.

Before the immense force even touched Raditz, the ground exploded with a roar, sinking continuously and forming a web-like network of pits. The rocks instantly shattered under the terrifying pressure.

Raditz crossed his hands and blocked the blow. The energy in their hands collided and canceled each other out.

The Frogman was greatly shocked. He had not expected Raditz to completely block his attack, and a trace of panic rose in his heart. He jumped into the air and opened his mouth wide. A bright white vortex of energy gathered there, highly compressed energy aimed at the ground before shooting out like a silver dragon.

"Powerful Ki, but in my eyes, it's nothing special!" Raditz laughed.

After learning to use Ki, his Battle Power had improved at an astonishing rate. Moreover, he had grasped the secret of instant bursts of power!

His strength surged sharply. A pale aura erupted around his body. He stacked his hands together and spread all ten fingers wide as endless energy gathered at a single point. Dazzling light shot toward the sky!

Shining Impact Wave!

The collision of energy produced endless thunderous explosions. The two forces tangled together, pushing back and forth without either gaining the upper hand. Even after using all his strength, the Frogman could not advance a single inch, while Raditz seemed to still have strength to spare.

"Heh heh, haven't you heard the saying? Never trade beams with a Saiyan! Aaaahhh!"

Raditz suddenly roared. Veins bulged across his arms, his Ki surged, and his energy wave overwhelmed the Frogman's attack, erupting with incomparably brilliant radiance!

In an instant, the light swallowed the Frogman. The energy wave shot straight into the clouds and flew beyond the horizon.

The enemy was blasted away without even a trace remaining.

Only a faint scorched smell lingered in the air. Raditz crouched halfway to the ground, panting heavily. "Luckily, my Battle Power has improved. Otherwise, I probably would have had to suffer some injuries to defeat him."

After speaking, Raditz looked into the distance, secretly delighted.
