Background

Vegeta was born into Planet Vegeta's royal line with exceptional natural talent. His Battle Power was already several hundred at birth, and he surpassed many adult Saiyan warriors within a few years, fostering his deep-seated arrogance and belief in the Saiyan hierarchy. 1

He viewed low-class Saiyans such as Raditz and Kakarot as beneath him. Before Raditz's growth, Vegeta treated him as an expendable subordinate and expected unquestioned obedience. 1 21
