Bundless Enters the Fray

"Ah—" Raditz was hit in the side of the face with a punch and quickly flew out, crashing hard against the wall.

Thump!

A huge impact echoed in his ears. A section of the wall caved in, and Raditz felt a burning pain in his back.

"Subject No. 1 is deployed! Subject No. 1 is deployed!"

A sharp voice called out urgently. Subject No. 1 extended its arm, fingers spread, and gathered a dark red Energy Blast!

It's already learned to use Energy Blasts? Raditz was shocked.

This body was different from any machine he had encountered before. It was directly controlled by the Bundless chip in its brain; in other words, it was Bundless! No wonder it was powerful enough to fight Raditz in his x5 Kaio-ken state, having collected so much data.

There was no time for further reflection. The dark red Energy Blast was already flying towards him. Raditz moved with all his might, leaving the explosion behind him. Sparks flew, and the sound was like thunder.

The speed of the x5 Kaio-ken was naturally beyond the reach of the Energy Blast. The dark space was bombarded everywhere, but Raditz remained unharmed.

He had been observing Bundless's attack intervals. The firing time for each Energy Blast was about half a second. This gap was his chance to counterattack! For him, half a second was enough!

As expected, Bundless had a moment of hesitation – the interval for charging energy. Seizing this opportunity, Raditz charged forward, a red light engulfing him like the sun descending upon the earth, burning everything!

He punched towards Bundless's face, like a crimson meteor. The immense power was enough to crack the earth.

Raditz was sent flying backward, crashing into the wall again. A wave of pain shot through his spine.

"I calculated your combat pattern. In your red state amplification, your speed is superior to mine, but your attack methods are simplistic. I've seen through all your moves."

"Hmph, do you know how cold that joke is?" Raditz taunted Bundless, but inwardly, he was already panicking. However, no matter what, he wouldn't give up. "Take this!"

Suddenly, Raditz stacked his hands, and a Shining Impact Wave shot directly at its front.

Bundless stepped forward, completely disregarding the shockwave. The light parted around it like water encountering rocks, flowing on either side before disappearing without a trace.

As the light dissipated, Raditz saw a transparent, triangular shield surrounding Bundless, capable of completely absorbing the Energy Blast's power. Moreover, because of this shockwave, Bundless's form became more robust, as if it had grown stronger...

"Attacks like this are ineffective against me, and my energy is eternal; it doesn't deplete."

"Heh, stronger than I imagined, and possessing every troublesome attribute," Raditz thought to himself. He then clenched his fist and took a deep breath.

He had thought there wouldn't be an energy absorption shield in its human form, but it was absorbed after all. It seemed he would have to tear it apart with his bare hands, just like he did with Metal Cooler!

Raditz charged again, initiating the attack.

"It's useless." Bundless raised its hand, preparing to attack, but suddenly froze. The Raditz in front of it turned into two, then four, and finally eight, surrounding it.

How could there be eight?

Bundless threw a punch, hitting only an afterimage. It froze completely in place, as if questioning its own existence.

At that moment, a kick landed on its face, sending it staggering back several steps. A large shoe print was clearly visible on its face.

"As expected, you can't handle moves you haven't seen before!" Raditz, having landed a blow, immediately pressed his advantage, circling to the side and delivering a series of whip-like kicks.

Bundless, taking heavy hits, hunched over, experiencing the taste of pain. At this moment, Raditz leaped behind it and slammed his elbow down fiercely, smashing it into the ground! The ground cracked under the heavy impact, the fissures spreading towards the wall.

Its current body was a simulated human skin. Under the forceful impact, red blood flowed out.

"You too," Bundless suddenly spoke coldly. It pushed itself up on all fours, leaped into the air, somersaulted, and landed behind Raditz.

"Ha!" It raised a leg and kicked back heavily, sending Raditz flying backward.

Fortunately, his reaction was swift. Raditz blocked part of the force, only retreating a few steps. Just as he was about to counter, Raditz's eyes snapped open wide, his expression changing drastically.

Several afterimages appeared before him, then began to circle him. Afterimages?

Raditz gritted his teeth, his eyes darting left and right. He couldn't sense its Ki. To catch its real body amongst the afterimages, he could only rely on his senses and visual tracking. In his field of vision, figures flashed by rapidly, closing in on him.

Shouting, he punched backward.

Bundless met the punch with its own. They collided, and the air exploded. The cracks in the ground grew even wider, and the lower edge of the reinforced wall showed signs of loosening.

Almost simultaneously, they both threw kicks, their legs clashing.

Fists and feet swung with the force of the wind, explosions and tremors accompanying them. Raditz ducked under Bundless's slash, dodged to the side, and threw a hook to the abdomen, but his fist passed through an afterimage. Instantly, Bundless appeared behind him and slammed its elbow down fiercely, striking his back, but it also missed. Raditz had already flashed behind Bundless and delivered a flying kick. It quickly turned, unleashing a spinning roundhouse kick that collided with Raditz.

"It's just like me, this guy," Raditz retreated several meters, stretching his legs.

After the series of collisions, his legs were trembling slightly. Looking at Bundless, it still appeared cold and emotionless. Although there was a shoe print on its face and blood trickling from its brow, it showed no sign of distress.

"Your power has weakened."

The annoying electronic voice echoed through the entire space again. Raditz knew very well it was referring to him. The x5 Kaio-ken was immensely powerful, but it also consumed a lot of stamina. He had spent a lot of time fighting Bundless, and his stamina had already been reduced.

Their Battle Powers were neck and neck. If he continued fighting at x5, his stamina disadvantage would lead to certain defeat.

Before him, Bundless pressed the attack, its finger thrusting out a cold glint, like a whip, or perhaps a blade. It raised its hand high and swung it! Raditz dodged frantically, narrowly avoiding the cold light. Some of his long hair was cut off as it fluttered, strands drifting down in the air.

A dangerous aura permeated the air.

"Damn it, I have to use a higher multiplier Kaio-ken. But I haven't found a way to counter it yet. If I push it too far..." Raditz made up his mind, gritting his teeth and roaring, pushing his limits once more, "There's no other way, x6!"
