"I knew that guy was a show-off!" Jemia cursed, his nose practically twisting with anger. "That bastard hates his own divine power more than anyone, but he sure as hell enjoys using it. What an asshole!"
"I heard he even fought his goddamned father for divine power in the end. That was damn satisfying, at least." Jemia raised his cup and drained it in one gulp. "A toast to Oushen! Good riddance, Poseidon!"
"Good riddance, Poseidon!" Lawrence raised his cup as well, fully agreeing.
Fujimaru Ritsuka and Mash did not drink alcohol. There was not much liquor in this little town anyway, so the two of them only took occasional sips of grape juice.
"But Chief Doris actually lived until now?" After setting down his cup, Jemia's face clouded with sorrowful resignation.
"She guarded Doris Island after it became an empty island, spending over ten thousand years there alone." Jemia pressed his lips together and let out a long sigh. Tossing aside his cup, he picked up the enormous wine barrel beside him and began guzzling from it.
"Th-This?" Fujimaru Ritsuka and Mash were utterly stunned.

"Chief Doris—!" Jemia howled at the top of his lungs. "Jemia of the Doris Tribe is still here! Are you doing well?"
He threw the now-empty barrel aside, lifted his head, and closed his eyes in silence.
"Let him have some time alone." Lawrence understood and smiled at Fujimaru Ritsuka and Mash before standing up from the table.
