"The Reverse Tide of the Sea, the Source of the Land's Waters, the Greatest of Places."
The goddess Nanshe froze for a moment, then chose to trust Lawrence's judgment and abruptly unleashed her divine power.
Buzz—
Suddenly, Lawrence, standing beside Nanshe, felt as though he had been plunged underwater, seized by a sensation of suffocation.
Nanshe's gaze locked completely onto Lahmu. Her emotions settled slightly, and her eyes narrowed.
"My springwater, weigh the life before you!"
Countless streams of clear divine power poured from Nanshe into her Springwater Sword. The entire blade shone with azure light, while countless water crystals spread across the sky, and the whole world was shrouded beneath a blue curtain of water.
Nanshe had completely become the center of this world.
"Huh? That woman is—really that strong?" Ishtar stared at Nanshe and the enormous Springwater Sword in her hand, so shocked that her jaw nearly dropped.
"She is the daughter of the god Enki, after all. Even if she cannot compare to the Seven Chief Gods of Destiny, she is still among the finest of the gods. Rather, what I find strange is that you did not know how powerful the goddess Nanshe was?"
Beside Ishtar, Enkidu controlled the Chains of Heaven as they pursued Lahmu, then looked at Ishtar with an odd expression.
"Uh, well, um."
Ishtar's expression stiffened completely, and for a long while, she could not say a word.
"Stop thinking about that for now. Focus on killing that Lahmu." Enkidu shifted his gaze away from Ishtar and looked at the Lahmu fleeing madly into the distance, his expression grave. "There is something wrong with that Lahmu."
"I knew that even without you telling me!"
Ishtar sounded somewhat embarrassed and irritated. Another arrow of divine power formed atop Maanna and shot toward Lahmu.
