One week after the Chunin Exams, Konoha returned to a state of calm.

Beneath the surface of this tranquility, undercurrents were surging violently.

"Itachi, do you know?" Xingye looked at his younger brother and said earnestly, "Our ancestors were once the closest of brothers. Hagoromo Otsutsuki and Hamura Otsutsuki—they should have stood united to protect this world together."

"But now, the two clans have become enemies."

"History always repeats itself; fratricide, internal strife—this cycle seems as though it will never end."

"But I want to change this cycle," Xingye's voice was firm and powerful.

Fugaku and Xingye exchanged a glance, both seeing the worry in the other's eyes.

Danzo really couldn't sit still anymore, Xingye thought to himself.

"Increase security!" Fugaku ordered. "From this moment on, the clan grounds are on maximum alert!"

"Yes!" the clansman replied respectfully before rushing away.

Fugaku looked at Xingye, his eyes flickering with complex emotions.

"Xingye, it seems the situation is even more urgent than we imagined."

"Father, I will find a way to solve this problem," Xingye said calmly. "Please trust me."

Fugaku looked at his son, his eyes filled with trust and hope.

"I believe in you, Xingye."

As night fell, Xingye stood alone on the roof of the clan grounds, looking toward the direction of Konoha.

"Danzo, if you are determined to lay a hand on our Uchiha clan," Xingye muttered to himself, his eyes flashing with a dangerous light, "then I will make you pay the price."
