Danzo's Final Frenzy

Deep within the Root base, Danzo sat in the shadows, a cold, murderous intent flickering in his single eye.

"Hiruzen Sarutobi..." Danzo gritted his teeth, "You actually chose to believe that brat instead of me?"

Laid out before him was the order just issued by the Third Hokage—relieving Danzo of all duties and initiating an investigation into his conduct.

"Ridiculous... truly ridiculous..." Danzo laughed in his extreme rage, "I have dedicated my entire life to Konoha, and now I am being kicked to the curb?"

Danzo stood up and paced back and forth in the room. His fury had reached its peak, and his sanity was being devoured by madness.

"That Uchiha Xingye... what exactly did he give you? To make you reach such a decision?"

Danzo stopped abruptly, a flash of malice crossing his eyes.

"Since you have shown no benevolence, do not blame me for being unrighteous."

Danzo pressed a button on his desk.

A few seconds later, three Root members appeared in the room, kneeling respectfully on the floor.

"Lord Danzo, your orders." The lead Root member said in a low voice.

Danzo looked at these loyal subordinates, a complex emotion flashing in his eyes. These children had been trained since infancy to be the sharpest blades, knowing only how to obey orders, devoid of their own thoughts or emotions.

"I have one final mission." Danzo said in a deep voice, "Are you willing to carry it out?"

"Lord Danzo's orders are our mission." The three Root members replied in unison.

Danzo nodded, a trace of satisfaction crossing his eyes.

"Very well." Danzo said, "I want you to raid the Uchiha compound and kill Fugaku and Uchiha Xingye."

The Root members did not hesitate: "Understood."

"Additionally," Danzo continued, "this attack must create chaos, so that all of Konoha knows the Uchiha clan is plotting a rebellion."

"Understood!"

Danzo waved his hand, and the three Root members vanished into the shadows.

Watching them leave, Danzo sat in his chair, a cold sneer curling his lips.

"Hiruzen Sarutobi, I will show you what 'the interests of Konoha' truly are."

"Uchiha Xingye, do you think you can change anything? Tonight will be your end."

What Danzo did not know was that his every move was under the control of Uchiha Xingye.

Inside the meeting hall of the Uchiha compound, Uchiha Xingye stood before a map, calmly analyzing the situation.

"Danzo has made his move." Uchiha Xingye said indifferently, "He has dispatched three Root members, planning to raid the compound and manufacture the illusion of a rebellion."

Fugaku slammed the table in anger: "That old fox! Even at a time like this, he still dares to take the initiative!"

"Father, this is exactly the effect I wanted." Uchiha Xingye said calmly, "Danzo's rage has led him to make a foolish move; we can use this opportunity to completely destroy his power base."

Itachi asked: "Brother, how should we respond?"

"It is simple." Uchiha Xingye said, "Let them attack, but we cannot let them succeed. On the contrary, we must capture them and make Danzo's plan a total failure."

Uchiha Xingye walked to the map and tapped his finger on several locations.

"These are the routes Danzo is likely to take, and we have already set up an ambush. Once the Root members appear, subdue them immediately."

Fugaku nodded: "I have already put the clansmen on high alert."

"Very well." Uchiha Xingye said, "The key to this operation is to let all of Konoha's high-ranking officials see that Danzo is the one destroying the peace of Konoha."

A flash of understanding crossed Itachi's eyes: "Brother, you want Danzo to dig his own grave in front of Konoha's leadership?"

"Exactly." Uchiha Xingye nodded, "Danzo thinks he can frame the Uchiha, but he does not know that we have made perfect preparations."

Uchiha Xingye looked up at the night sky, a dangerous light flickering in his eyes.

"Danzo, your final battle is about to begin."

The night in Konoha village was exceptionally quiet, save for the occasional chirping of insects.

The three Root members approached the Uchiha compound silently; they were the most elite assassins in Root, skilled in concealment and surprise attacks.

"Target approaching." The lead Root member whispered, "According to the plan, attack Fugaku first, then kill Uchiha Xingye."

The other two nodded, preparing to act.

Just then, countless pairs of Sharingan suddenly lit up in the surroundings.

"You have come to the wrong place."

Uchiha Xingye stepped out from the darkness, his Sharingan already activated, three tomoe spinning in his eyes.

"Uchiha Xingye!" The Root members were shocked, "How did you know we would come?"

"Your plan has been crystal clear to me for a long time." Uchiha Xingye sneered, "Danzo sent you to manufacture the illusion of a rebellion, but what you don't know is that I have already exposed his conspiracy to the high-ranking officials of Konoha."

The faces of the Root members darkened.

"Regardless, our mission is to kill you," the lead Root member stated. "Even if it means death, the mission must be completed."

The three Root members launched their attack simultaneously, their ninjutsu and taijutsu working in seamless coordination.

But Uchiha Xingye was already prepared.

With Sharingan and Byakugan activated at once, his eyes shimmered with an exotic brilliance.

Lightning Style: Chidori Sharp Spear!

Blinding lightning instantly pierced through the chest of one Root member, who collapsed before he could even let out a scream.

Seeing this, the other two prepared to retreat.

"Trying to run?" Uchiha Xingye sneered. "Too late."

Uchiha Xingye teleported behind them, his Sharingan capturing their every movement.

"Tonight, none of you are getting away."

Lightning Release: Senbon!

Countless tiny lightning needles shot from Uchiha Xingye's hands, striking the vital points of the remaining two Root members with precision.

All three were struck down, rendered incapable of combat.

Uchiha Xingye walked over to them, looking down at the Root members coldly.

"Tell Danzo," Uchiha Xingye said, "I have fully grasped his plans. The upper echelons of Konoha know exactly what he is plotting."

"Tonight is his end."

The Root members dared not retort, left only to submit to Uchiha Xingye's disposal.

"Take them to the Hokage Building and let the Third Hokage interrogate them personally," Uchiha Xingye told the arriving Uchiha clansmen.

The clansmen nodded and dragged the three Root members away.

Uchiha Xingye stood where he was, gazing toward the distant direction of the Root base.

"Danzo, your time is up."

Inside the Root base, Danzo was waiting anxiously for news.

"Why is there still no word..." Danzo muttered to himself. "According to the plan, they should have succeeded by now."

Suddenly, the door was pushed open.

A Root member rushed in, his face ashen.

"Lord Danzo... it's bad..."

Danzo frowned. "What happened?"

"The Root members sent to attack... they've been captured," the Root member said, trembling. "And... the Hokage already knows."

Danzo was shocked. "What?!"

"Yes, Lord Danzo," the Root member continued. "Uchiha Xingye had long anticipated your plan; he had people lying in ambush around the clan grounds. All three Root members were captured and have now been taken to the Hokage Building."

Danzo's face turned deathly pale in an instant.

"Impossible..." Danzo muttered to himself. "How could he have known?"

"There's more..." the Root member said, trembling. "The Hokage has already issued an order... to arrest you immediately."

Danzo's body went limp, and he slumped into his chair.

Everything was over.

His plans, his ambitions, his entire life—all ruined by a ten-year-old child.

"Uchiha Xingye..." Danzo gritted his teeth. "You have destroyed everything I have..."

"Lord Danzo, what should we do?" the Root member asked.

Danzo remained silent for a moment, a flash of madness crossing his eyes.

"I will not admit defeat just like this," Danzo said, standing up. "I still have my final trump card."

"Izanagi..."

Danzo looked at his right arm, where the Sharingan of Shisui Uchiha was embedded.

"As long as Izanagi exists, I still have a chance."

[System Notification: Danzo is preparing to use Izanagi. Danger detected.]

The system's notification chimed in Uchiha Xingye's mind.

Uchiha Xingye was waiting quietly outside the Hokage Building.

"Danzo, do you think Izanagi can save you?" Uchiha Xingye muttered to himself. "How naive."

Uchiha Xingye had already made foolproof preparations. No matter how Danzo struggled, he could not escape his fated defeat.
