The End of Toneri

The moon's surface, the Tenseigan Altar.

The shock wave from Toneri's self-destruction swept across the entire moon, and enormous cracks spread across its surface.

Xingye's body was blasted away, while the power of Karma worked at full strength to heal his injuries.

"Toneri," Xingye gritted his teeth. "I never thought you'd choose to blow yourself up."

Just then, Toneri's remnant soul appeared before Xingye, already extremely weak.

"Xingye," Toneri said weakly. "You may have destroyed my body, but the Tenseigan's power remains."

"The moon won't let you get away with this."

Xingye sneered. "Toneri, don't you understand even now?"

"I've already absorbed all of the Tenseigan's power."

"The moon belongs to me now."

Xingye opened his left eye, and the Tenseigan shone with dazzling moonlight.

Toneri's remnant soul's expression changed dramatically. "What? You absorbed all of my power?"

Xingye nodded. "Urashiki's power and Toneri's power have both become part of me."

"I've mastered the Ōtsutsuki Clan's bloodline."

Toneri's remnant soul sneered. "Xingye, do you think absorbing the Tenseigan's power makes you invincible?"

"The moon's core contains Kaguya's power."

"If you want to control the moon completely, you have to awaken Kaguya."

Xingye smiled faintly. "I've already brought Kaguya over to my side."

"She won't oppose me. She'll support me."

Toneri's remnant soul's expression changed dramatically. "What? Kaguya has been brought under your control?"

"That's impossible! Kaguya is the princess of the Ōtsutsuki Clan. She would never bow to a human."

Xingye shook his head. "Kaguya isn't the princess of the Ōtsutsuki Clan. She's part of the Shinobi World."

"She understands now that the Infinite Tsukuyomi isn't peace, but a new kind of hell."

"So she chose to work with me and protect the Shinobi World together."

Toneri's remnant soul fell silent for a moment, then gave a bitter smile. "It seems I really have lost."

"Xingye, you're not only powerful, but wise enough to persuade Kaguya."

"I accept defeat."

Xingye said calmly, "Toneri, go."

"I won't destroy your remnant soul."

Toneri's remnant soul looked at Xingye, a complicated glint in his eyes.

"Xingye, thank you."

"I'll return to the Otsutsuki Home Planet and tell my people that Earth no longer needs us."

Xingye nodded. "Go."

Toneri's remnant soul gradually faded away, turning into specks of starlight before vanishing into the universe.

The moon's surface

Xingye stood up and looked toward Earth.

The blue planet revolved quietly in space, beautiful and serene.

"Toneri is gone," Xingye murmured. "The threat from the Ōtsutsuki Clan has basically been eliminated."

Just then, the system's notification sounded.

[System Notification: Absorption of Toneri's remnant soul chakra complete]

[Acquired Traits: Tenseigan Perfect Form (Mythic), Heart of the Moon (Mythic), Kaguya Contract (Mythic)]

Xingye was delighted. Three Mythic-grade traits.

"Kaguya Contract?" Xingye murmured. "What kind of trait is that?"

The system explained, "The Kaguya Contract is a soul contract signed with Kaguya Otsutsuki."

"Once this trait is acquired, Kaguya will obey Xingye's commands completely."

"Xingye can summon Kaguya at any time and have her fight for him."

Xingye's eyes lit up. "I can summon Kaguya? That's incredibly powerful."

"If Kaguya joins my side, I won't have to worry about the threat from the Ōtsutsuki Clan."

Just then, Naruto, Sasuke, and the others emerged from the rubble.

"Xingye!" Naruto shouted, rushing toward him.

"Are you all right?"

Xingye shook his head. "I'm fine. I'm just a little injured."

"I've defeated Toneri."

Naruto breathed a sigh of relief. "That's great."

"We were worried something had happened to you."

Sasuke looked at Xingye, his expression complicated. "Xingye, your strength has already surpassed the Six Paths level."

"It seems there's no one left in the Shinobi World who can threaten you."

Xingye shook his head. "Sasuke, don't jump to conclusions so soon."

"There are still other members of the Ōtsutsuki Clan."

"Besides, I've acquired the Kaguya Contract and can summon Kaguya at any time."

"Kaguya's power is far beyond what you can imagine."

Everyone's expressions changed. Xingye had actually brought Kaguya under his control!

"Kaguya?" Naruto stared at Xingye in surprise. "You mean Kaguya?"

Xingye nodded. "That's right. I've brought Kaguya over to my side."

"She's my ally now, and I can summon her whenever I want."

Sasuke was silent for a moment, then nodded. "Xingye, since you've brought Kaguya over to your side, we have nothing to worry about."

"The Ōtsutsuki Clan can no longer threaten the Shinobi World."

Kakashi looked at Xingye with a complicated expression. "Xingye, you've surpassed the Hokage and the limits of the Shinobi World."

"Your strength is now close to that of a god."

Xingye smiled faintly. "Kakashi-sensei, I'm just an ordinary ninja who wants to protect my home."

"Whether I'm a god or not doesn't matter."

Everyone nodded, filled with admiration for Xingye.

The moon, returning to Earth

Xingye used the Rinnegan's Space-Time Ninjutsu to open a space-time gate to Earth.

"Let's go," Xingye said. "We're returning to Earth."

Everyone nodded and followed Xingye through the gate.

Earth, Konoha

The space-time gate opened in front of the Hokage Building, and Xingye and the others stepped out.

The Third Hokage and the other Hokage were waiting. When they saw Xingye and the others return, smiles of relief appeared on their faces.

"Xingye," the Third Hokage said as he walked over. "You're back."

"What happened to Toneri?"

Xingye nodded. "I've defeated Toneri."

"The threat from the Ōtsutsuki Clan has basically been eliminated."

Smiles appeared on the faces of the Hokage. At last, the Shinobi World was at peace.

"That's wonderful," the Raikage said, patting Xingye on the shoulder. "Xingye, you're a hero of the Shinobi World."

"Without you, the Ōtsutsuki Clan might have destroyed the Shinobi World by now."

The Tsuchikage nodded. "That's right, Xingye. You're the Shinobi World's greatest hope."

"The future of the Shinobi World will depend on you."

The Mizukage smiled. "Xingye, we'll support you wholeheartedly."

"The Shinobi World will grow stronger because of you."

Xingye smiled faintly. "Hokage, I'm just an ordinary ninja who did what I had to do."

"Protecting the Shinobi World is the responsibility of all of us."

The Third Hokage nodded. "You're right, Xingye."

"Still, you've truly surpassed an ordinary ninja and become the guardian of the Shinobi World."

Xingye shook his head. "I don't deserve to be called its guardian."

"I just want to protect the people I love and the home I cherish."

Just then, the system's notification sounded.

[System Notification: Volume Five, Otsutsuki War Arc, 95% complete]

[5% remaining until the end of Volume Five]

Xingye's thoughts stirred. "Volume Five is almost over. I need to be ready."

"The Ōtsutsuki Clan probably won't come again."

"But there are other civilizations in the universe, and they could pose new threats."

Just then, Xingye suddenly remembered something.

"By the way," Xingye said, turning to the Third Hokage. "Third Hokage, I need to discuss something with everyone."

The Third Hokage nodded. "Go ahead, Xingye."

Xingye said, "I plan to go to the Otsutsuki Home Planet and eliminate the threat from the Ōtsutsuki Clan for good."

"If we don't go to their home planet, they could send even stronger envoys at any time."

"Only by going there and bringing down the Ōtsutsuki Clan can the Shinobi World truly be safe."

Everyone's expressions changed. They were going to the Otsutsuki Home Planet?

"Xingye," Naruto said. "Are you really going to the Otsutsuki Home Planet?"

"That's the Ōtsutsuki Clan's stronghold. They're incredibly powerful."

Xingye nodded. "Yes. I have to go."

"If we don't, the Ōtsutsuki Clan could send even stronger envoys at any time."

"The Shinobi World will remain under threat forever."

Sasuke was silent for a moment, then said, "Xingye, I'll go with you."

"You're powerful, but the strength of the Otsutsuki Home Planet is far beyond anything we can imagine."

"You'll need help."

Naruto clenched his fists. "I'm going too!"

"I want to help you put an end to the threat from the Ōtsutsuki Clan."

Sakura nodded. "I'll go too."

"As a medical ninja, I can support you when it matters most."

Kakashi said, "I'll go too."

"Xingye, you need experienced ninja to help you handle all kinds of situations."

Xingye looked at them, a glimmer of emotion in his eyes.

"Everyone," Xingye said, "you don't need to put yourselves in danger."

"The Otsutsuki Home Planet is far stronger than you are. You'd only be a burden."

Naruto shook his head. "No, Xingye."

"We're your comrades. We should face danger together."

"If you go alone, we'll be worried sick."

Sasuke nodded. "That's right, Xingye."

"We're your comrades. We won't let you face danger alone."

Xingye looked at them, then finally nodded. "All right. Since you're all determined, we'll go together."

The Third Hokage walked over and patted Xingye on the shoulder. "Xingye, be careful."

"The Otsutsuki Home Planet is far stronger than we can imagine. Don't let your guard down."

Xingye nodded. "Don't worry, Third Hokage."

"We'll be careful."

Just then, the system's notification sounded.

[System Notification: New mission unlocked: Travel to the Otsutsuki Home Planet]

[Mission Rewards: Galactic Combat Power (Mythic), Creation Power (Mythic), Domain of Gods (Mythic)]

Xingye was delighted. Three Mythic-grade traits as rewards!

"Traveling to the Otsutsuki Home Planet," Xingye murmured. "This isn't just about eliminating the threat. It's also a chance to grow stronger."

"With these Mythic-grade traits, I'll be able to become a true god."

Xingye stood atop the Hokage Building, gazing into the night sky.

Starlight shimmered across the sky, beautiful and mysterious.

"Otsutsuki Home Planet," Xingye murmured. "Just you wait. I'll bring you all down."

"The Shinobi World will know peace forever."
