Kust stared intently at the continuously repairing Zerg warship. He had contacted all the captains and was preparing to take unified command of the warships. Only by concentrating their firepower and directly destroying the Zerg warship could they counter its self-repair advantage. However, although he was a Level 21 powerhouse, coordinating over a hundred warships still left him overwhelmed. Then Sidney's roar made Kust even more irritated!
"Sidney, is your Columbia fleet made up of pigs? You can't even deal with a few flying bugs?!" Under the pressure of anxiety, urgency, and anger, Kust's attitude was exceedingly foul.
Sidney's expression instantly turned icy, and a faint chill seemed to gleam from his eyes!
After venting that shout, Kust realized that he had acted impulsively. Though he was nominally the supreme commander of the allied forces, Columbia was a Level 6 civilization, an interstellar civilization independent of Gibraltar. They had submitted to his command only to strike the Zerg and share in the resources; that did not mean they truly acknowledged him in their hearts.
Sidney's icy gaze cleared Kust's muddled head somewhat. As the commander-in-chief, he could not apologize to Sidney, but he had other ways to make up for his earlier outburst. "General Sidney, I'll send half of my Kust fighter squadrons to you. At the same time, all nearby gunboats and frigates will be placed under your command. As long as you can hold off the Zerg aerial army, I'll give your forces the foremost credit for this war!"
Sidney was no fool. Kust's words were clearly an indirect apology, and his expression softened somewhat. "Don't worry. I'll make good use of these forces!"
The orders were swiftly relayed. The frigates and gunboats around the fleet immediately rushed to reinforce the rear. Gunboats existed specifically to counter small
