Great Elder Fatis stared grimly at the battlefield before him. Behind him, three thousand of the Elf Race's most elite Divine Archer Guards stood ready. "Kill!" At his command, Fatis charged ahead, opening the way with two feathered arrows that shot down two Blade-Arm Mutalisks on the spot. He then became a streak of green light, wielding an elven longsword as he cut left and right, unstoppable.
Three Vipers noticed his ferocity and immediately moved in to surround him from behind. Their three long, whip-like tails shot toward Fatis at once. Fatis drove his sword into the head of a Blade-Arm Mutalisk before him without even looking back. He lightly clenched his left hand, and over a hundred thick green vines appeared from thin air, intertwining to form a green shield patterned with curved lines in the blink of an eye. The three whip-like tails slammed into it, but the shield did not budge. Instead, countless vines split from its surface and spread along the three tails.
The three Vipers' attack had failed, and they withdrew their tails. Yet the vines that had spread across them suddenly erupted—one became two, two became four... The vines burrowed deep into the Vipers' bodies, feeding on their blood and growing ever faster. The Vipers struggled desperately, but it did nothing except bring them excruciating pain. Three seconds later, all three Vipers had been drained dry, their bodies covered from head to toe in blood-red vines!
Fatis did not spare them a single glance. Pulling his elven sword from the Blade-Arm Mutalisk's skull, he rushed straight toward his next target. The Elf Race's Divine Archer Guards followed closely behind him, like a sharp dagger ruthlessly stabbing into the Zerg ranks.
