Aizen enters Shin'o Academy as Kisaragi Akira's classmate. His polite, approachable demeanor quickly draws Akira in, while Aizen becomes interested in Akira's unusual nature. Akira's trust in him reaches the condition for a character sign-in, granting Akira the trait Heart of the Divine. 2 3

Even while studying, Aizen is disturbed by Soul Society's hierarchy. He questions why Captain-Commander Yamamoto remains subordinate to the nobility and resolves to uncover the world's remaining secrets.
