Liber stood beside Bete, glancing at Lefiya beside him, who looked dejected after hearing Riveria's words.
He took a sip of the black tea Lefiya handed him and whispered to her.
"Don't be discouraged. Tiona and the others were praising you when we got back."
Hearing this, Lefiya lowered her head even further.
"It was just comfort. I couldn't do anything when Ais and the others were fighting Freya Familia. Tiona-san even saved my life."
"How embarrassing."
She gradually curled up, squatting on the ground and drawing in the dirt with her finger.
Seeing her dejected and squatting on the ground, Liber felt a headache coming on as he watched Lefiya, who had finally gained some confidence recently, lose it again.
He glanced at the executives in front, who were still discussing follow-up matters.
Holding his teacup, he quietly bent down and squatted beside her.
The dejected Lefiya was staring at the lines she was unconsciously drawing on the ground.
Feeling something touch her, she turned her head, and the close-up face startled her into sitting down on the ground.
"Ah!"
Hearing Lefiya's shriek, everyone discussing in front looked towards the source of the sound.
"What's wrong, Lefiya?"
Tiona, who was lounging on the back of the sofa, poked her head out and asked curiously at Lefiya, who was sitting on the ground.
"Th-that..."
Lefiya, with her hands supporting her on the ground, stammered while sitting.
"Get up quickly."
Liber, squatting beside her, extended his hand to her with a slight smile on his face.
Lefiya pouted, took his outstretched hand, and was pulled up by him, whispering.
"Don't tease me, Liber."
"Sorry, sorry."
Liber, having pulled Lefiya up and released her hand, apologized casually.
Seeing Lefiya and Liber standing up and appearing unharmed, the executives resumed their discussion.
Seeing her slightly annoyed expression, Liber took a couple of sips of tea and asked softly.
"Feeling any better?"
"Huh?"
Lefiya, still startled by Liber's earlier action, blinked slightly at his question.
Before she could reply, she saw Finn looking at Liber.
"Thank you, Liber. I didn't expect you to return in time."
Hearing Finn's praise, Liber straightened his expression and replied earnestly.
"I didn't do much to help, so you don't need to be so formal, Captain."
"Don't be so modest. I saw the wounds on Allen."
Tiona said, looking at Bete behind her and teasingly remarking.
"Unlike some people who just got beaten down."
"Do you want that mouth of yours or not?"
Bete suddenly moved closer to Tiona, gritting his teeth and saying.
"Soooo scaaary~"
Tiona was unfazed by Bete's threat, rolling her eyes and mocking him.
Seeing her playful expression, Bete twitched his lips, grabbed Tiona's cheeks, and covered her mouth, saying.
"Since you don't want your mouth, it's better to shut it."
"Mmph~ Mmph~"
Tiona, with her cheeks pinched, opened her eyes and made muffled sounds before suddenly breaking free.
With anger in her eyes, she lunged at Bete.
"I'll kill you, you bastard!"
She flipped over the sofa, tackled Bete, and started wrestling with him.
Everyone watched the two on the ground speechlessly.
Finn smiled helplessly and said to Liber.
"Modesty is a good virtue, but as Tiona said, thanks to you and Bete for holding Allen back."
"This way, I was able to stalemate Ottar and prevent the situation from escalating further."
"I was a little worried about your condition before, but now it seems your growth has far exceeded my imagination."
Hearing Finn's words, Liber scratched his head, feeling a bit embarrassed.
Seeing the suppressed smile on Liber's face, Finn said gently.
"If you need anything, you can mention it, and I can include it on the invoice submitted to Freya Familia. If they disagree, I'll try my best to fulfill it within the Familia."
"I don't really lack anything at the moment," Liber replied with a troubled expression.
"What about weapons? You're still using ordinary weapons, aren't you? Don't you have any needs in that regard?" Finn asked curiously.
"Ah! That... regarding weapons, the god Goibniu promised to forge an unbreakable weapon for me for free."
"Huh?"
Hearing him, everyone looked at Liber in surprise.
"Wh-why!" Tiona, who was wrestling with Bete, said intermittently as Bete pinched her mouth.
"I can't tell you the reason. I just made an agreement or a deal with Goibniu," Liber replied to Tiona awkwardly.
Finn looked at him with confusion and asked hesitantly.
"As the leader of Loki Familia, allow me to ask, this agreement or deal doesn't involve anything within the Familia, does it?"
"No, no, it doesn't involve any specific matters. It's just me personally helping him with something," Liber replied, waving his hands repeatedly.
"Alright. This makes things difficult. Are there no other needs?" Finn asked, leaning back in his chair with one hand supporting his head.
"How about weapons then? Ordinary weapons are fine, but I hope for a larger quantity," Liber said after some thought, requesting weapons from Finn.
"Although I don't know what you need so many weapons for, it's fine. If it's just a few weapons, the Familia can meet the demand."
"What's the specific quantity you want?" Finn inquired.
"The more, the better. At least twenty pieces," Liber estimated.
"So many? The Familia can meet your needs, but let's put it on the bill first and try to ask them for forty," Finn said, tapping his forehead as he considered the Familia's inventory and Freya Familia's compensation, decisively putting it on the bill.
Liber shrugged and raised no objection.
Seeing Bete and Tiona wrestling on the floor, he stood up, ready to continue fighting.
"Alright, you two, stop for now," Finn said, halting their actions. He clapped his hands to get everyone's attention.
"Regardless, tonight's events are over. You've all been busy all night, so it's best to rest first. If there are matters to discuss later, I'll send someone to notify you."
"Thank you for your hard work, everyone. The meeting is now adjourned!"
Liber walked with everyone down the corridor. He watched as they separated at various intersections, returning to their respective rooms. He reached the fork leading to his room and walked deeper into it. Suddenly, Ais's voice called out from behind him.
"I heard you fought Allen one-on-one before and injured him, is that true?"
Liber turned to look at her. Hearing Ais's question, he thought for a moment before replying.
"I don't think so. After all, I don't have that kind of power yet." He shrugged. "The injuries he sustained were merely a result of his own underestimation."
"...Is that so?"
Ais muttered to herself, looking somewhat dazed.
"Of course."
He heard her self-muttering and confirmed her doubt.
"Then if there's nothing else, I'll head back to my room. Bye~"
Liber watched her still-bewildered expression, then turned around, waved his hand, and walked toward his room.
