Regrets, Mega-Regrets!

The homeroom teacher beamed at Li Yu. "Good, good, very good! Your foundation is solid, and your body seems to be in good shape!"

She had only wanted to check whether Li Yu had used some strange method to break through, but after examining him, she realized she'd been overthinking it.

This gave her a much clearer understanding of Li Yu's talent. He was a complete monster!

She also discovered that, on top of his martial arts, Li Yu had reached the fourth rank in magic as well. Who would believe that if she told them?

If she hadn't seen it with her own eyes and checked that there was nothing seriously wrong with Li Yu's body, even Zhang Li wouldn't have believed he could break through so quickly.

After encouraging Li Yu a few times, she sent him to wait over there. Once everyone had arrived, they would head straight to the Dungeon.

"That's ridiculous. You've already reached the fourth rank?" Asuna followed Li Yu over to wait nearby, looking at him in disbelief.

That leveling speed was practically outrageous. Li Yu didn't seem to have done anything. How had he broken through so quickly?

Usually, Li Yu went to class and left with them, just like everyone else. And over the past couple of days, he'd been busy making potions. How had he broken through in the blink of an eye?

"Maybe I'm just especially talented!" Li Yu replied with a grin. There was no need to explain too much. Even if someone investigated, they wouldn't find anything.

After all, Li Yu really had broken through on his own, and he hadn't done anything strange. No matter how they looked into it, the answer would be that Li Yu was exceptionally gifted.

Asuna didn't know what to say when she heard that. All she could do was envy him. The rest of the class couldn't help gathering around, either.

Everyone in the class was at the third rank now, either in magic or martial arts. Over the past couple of days, many of them had followed Li Yu's advice.

If they couldn't break through in martial arts, they could try magic instead. They only needed to reach the third rank. That was why everyone in the class had now broken through.

Compared to Li Yu, though, their breakthroughs were nothing. His seemingly cheat-like progress had left his classmates utterly stunned.

That was why they were all crowding around him now, asking how he'd done it. Li Yu gave the same answer as before: don't ask—if you do, the answer is talent!

When Kato Megumi and Yukino Yukinoshita arrived at school and saw so many people surrounding Li Yu, they looked puzzled.

Once they'd heard the full story, they stared at Li Yu in shock, too. He'd broken through? Was he joking?

"You didn't see that coming, did you? Neither did I!" Asuna came over to them. Watching Li Yu surrounded by his classmates, she couldn't hide how envious she felt.

"Monster," Yukino Yukinoshita murmured as she looked at Li Yu. What an infuriating talent. At this rate, it wouldn't be long before he left them all in the dust!

"As expected of Li Yu!" Kato Megumi said, full of admiration. She even suspected that his rapid breakthrough was connected to his talent for learning.

After all, Li Yu was constantly studying. With all the techniques he'd learned, perhaps his rapid breakthrough wasn't so hard to accept.

No one knew how many martial techniques and sword styles Li Yu had learned by now. His effortless breakthrough to the fourth rank was the best proof.

"There's no point envying him. Anyway, try these. Li Yu made them yesterday." Everyone was different, and there was no way Asuna and the others could catch up to Li Yu.

She didn't dwell on it. Instead, she took out the two bags of Red and Blue Potions Li Yu had given her and offered to share them.

Hearing Asuna, Yukino Yukinoshita and Kato Megumi looked puzzled. When they saw the Red and Blue Potions she'd taken out, their expressions turned strange.

"Could these be the unusual-flavored potions Li Yu made?" Kato Megumi asked Asuna, sounding unsure.

If they were ordinary potions, Asuna wouldn't have needed to take them out. Everyone had those. But since she'd brought these out, they had to be the ones Li Yu had mentioned the other day...

Can they really be drunk? The same question surfaced in both Kato Megumi and Yukino Yukinoshita's minds. This was so bizarre. Had Li Yu really made them?

"The Red Potion tastes like strawberries, and the Blue Potion tastes like blueberries. Li Yu seems to have changed the recipe, but the cost and effects are still the same. Only the flavors have changed." Asuna explained the two potions honestly.

"Really?" Yukino Yukinoshita's eyes lit up at Asuna's explanation, and she looked surprised, too. He'd actually done it? Just how incredible was Li Yu?

"Really. I tried them myself. If you don't believe me, try them too." As she spoke, she unscrewed the cap and gestured for them to come over and taste it.

Kato Megumi and Yukino didn't hesitate. They both tried it, and the flavor really had changed. It actually tasted like strawberries!

The effects were also the same as the potions they'd bought before, and neither of them felt any discomfort. In other words, the potions were safe.

"This is unbelievable. It tastes so much better!" Yukino Yukinoshita's eyes lit up after tasting the Red Potion. It really was delicious.

"Right? I think it tastes great, too." Asuna nodded, agreeing wholeheartedly with Yukino Yukinoshita. How could it not taste great?

"It's a shame we still have so many of the ones we bought earlier. Otherwise, I'd want to replace them all with these." Kato Megumi felt a little frustrated.

She regretted it, just like Asuna did. If only she'd listened to Li Yu yesterday. He really could make potions in other flavors.

Why hadn't she believed him? If she'd believed him and waited a little longer, she could probably have bought these potions. After tasting them, she had no desire to drink those Red Potions in their original, unaltered form!

Li Yu's new Red Potion was like fruit juice. It tasted wonderful and had a special, refreshing fragrance. The ordinary version wasn't nearly as good.

If they could drink delicious potions, why would they want to drink ones that tasted strongly of medicinal herbs? If these things appeared on the market, they'd probably sell like crazy.

As the three of them regretted buying their potions too early, the rest of the class soon arrived as well. After everyone had registered, Zhang Li clapped her hands. "Quiet!"

The crowd fell silent at once. Seeing this, Zhang Li immediately said, "Everyone in the class is here, and all of you have reached the third rank. I'm very pleased!"

As she said this, a smile crept onto her face. This Special Class had lived up to her expectations. Every single student had reached the third rank.

They'd advanced much faster than the students in the school's martial arts and magic classes. Most of those students were still at the second rank, and only a handful had even reached the threshold of the third.
