Teacher, I Really Want to Improve!

Zhang Li's words brought smiles to the faces of many in the class; they had certainly put in no small amount of effort over the past two days to achieve a breakthrough.

Li Yu's previous advice not to fixate solely on martial arts had proven absolutely correct. Because of this, those students who found themselves unable to break through in martial arts over the weekend had decisively turned to quiet meditation at home.

When everyone walked out of the school gate, several buses were already parked on the road outside. Shizuka Hiratsuka and Teacher Li, who were in charge of Li Yu and the others, were waiting there.

"Find a bus and get on!" After Zhang Li reached the outside, she shouted to the students, telling them to board on their own.

Li Yu didn't hesitate at all and walked straight toward Teacher Li. Seeing this, Asuna and the others blinked, thought for a moment, and followed suit.

Once they reached Teacher Li's side, Li Yu said with a grin, "Teacher, could you explain some Intermediate Magic to me on the bus later?"

Yes, the reason Li Yu sought out Teacher Li was for this very purpose. He wanted to learn some Intermediate Magic; having now broken through to the fourth rank, he was finally eligible to learn it.

Listening to Li Yu, Teacher Li adjusted his glasses and stared at him. "To be honest, I have never seen a student as outrageous as you. In just a few days, you've traveled a path that takes most people years!"

Feeling the aura emanating from Li Yu, he was taken aback. This was simply too absurd—had he really broken through to the fourth rank?

"That's because I am a true genius. Other geniuses are merely the threshold to my level!" Li Yu said this with a straight face, and in truth, he wasn't wrong.

Teacher Li rolled his eyes, having no desire to bicker with Li Yu. Instead, he said, "Go get on the bus and sit in the front. I'll tell you about some Intermediate Magic in a bit."

He did not refuse Li Yu's request. Now that Li Yu was at the fourth rank, he was indeed ready to learn Intermediate Magic, and teaching him more would be helpful in the Dungeon.

Given Li Yu's talent, he would likely master whatever he was taught very quickly. The drive from the school to the Dungeon would take about half an hour, which was enough time for him to instruct Li Yu.

"Alright!" Li Yu had no objections. He boarded the bus and found a seat near the front. Asuna and the others were sensible enough to leave the seat next to Li Yu empty.

Many in the class had heard the conversation between Li Yu and Teacher Li, so they were happy to cooperate, leaving that seat open for Teacher Li to take.

After a few minutes, the bus was full. Teacher Li boarded as well, and upon seeing the seat next to Li Yu, he walked over and sat down.

Once the bus started moving, Teacher Li began explaining the concepts of Intermediate Magic to Li Yu. There wasn't much he could actually teach him, as he couldn't demonstrate anything on the bus.

Therefore, he simply explained to Li Yu the methods for amplifying Beginner Magic now that he had reached the fourth rank.

Listening to his words, Li Yu nodded. He already had a rough idea forming in his mind, and he understood everything being said.

"There isn't much Intermediate Magic I can teach you. According to regulations, those usually require you to be in university to learn. However, there is one spell I can teach you, and you should be able to master it." Teacher Li looked at Li Yu, then glanced at the weapon he was holding, and decided to teach Li Yu a spell for Weapon Storage.

Upon hearing this, Li Yu perked up. He stared intently at Teacher Li, looking forward to the new spell he was about to learn.

"This spell concerns Weapon Storage. You should have noticed that we teachers rarely carry weapons, but that doesn't mean we don't have them!" After saying this, he raised his hand, and a purple magic circle manifested.

This magic circle was more complex and intricate than those of the Beginner Magic variety. As the spell activated, Teacher Li pulled a magic wand out from the circle.

"This is Weapon Storage, a spell involving space. It is quite difficult to learn, but it shouldn't be a problem for you." Teacher Li held the wand in his hand and explained it to Li Yu with great seriousness.

The moment he saw the spell, Li Yu's eyes lit up. This spell was incredibly useful, and it was spatial? Li Yu asked excitedly, "Can this spell only store weapons?"

Or was it a spell that opened up a space where one could place weapons? If it could open a space, could it store other items as well?

The moment Li Yu saw the spell being cast, he had already grasped the mechanics in his mind, but he still needed to ask the teacher for the specifics.

"I know what you're thinking. When I first learned this spell, my thoughts were likely the same as yours. You're wondering if you can store other things, right? My answer is: no!"
