History

Jiang Li's exposure of Yin Puppet Sect spies within the Holy Land helped trigger a broad retaliation: the sect launched simultaneous suppression operations against sixty Yin Puppet Sect secret strongholds, publicly demonstrating its power to the cultivation world 5 20.

The Holy Land subsequently elevated Jiang Li despite his low public profile. Elder Zhang Song recommended him for the Elite Training Program; the sect later exempted him from cultivation restrictions to enter the Transformation Class, granted him contribution rewards, and designated him a Holy Son candidate 5 28 29 30.

As Jiang Li's achievements accumulated, the Holy Land granted him access to major inheritances, supported his investigations into sinful disciples and infiltrators, and appointed him Chief of Heaven Sword Peak and Inspector of the Enforcement Hall 48 54 62 80.

After Jiang Li defeated four Holy Son candidates in a single day, the Holy Master confirmed him as the sole candidate and initiated the Holy Son assessment in the Heavenly Tomb 163 164. Jiang Li passed the assessment by receiving simultaneous recognition from all nine Grandmasters, becoming the Holy Land's new Holy Son 169.

The Holy Land's internal politics were initially dominated by four major factions centered on the peaks of established Holy Son candidates. Jiang Li's qualification to contend for the position threatened that balance 87.

Holy Son Institution

• A Holy Son candidate must not only prevail in internal competition, but also pass the Heavenly Tomb's inheritance assessment and earn the Founders' recognition. A candidate who fails the latter can be removed from office regardless of prior selection 164.
• The Heavenly Tomb is guarded by the Seven-Colored Elk, a true spirit formed from spiritual essence and fragments of past Founders' laws 164.
• The assessment normally requires Nascent Soul cultivation or above. The Holy Master made an exception by allowing Golden Core-stage Jiang Li to participate 164.
• Recognition as Holy Son grants the protection of the Holy Land's destiny for one hundred thousand years, making evil influence and inner demons difficult to invade while enhancing fortune, cultivation, comprehension, and breakthroughs 169.
• Jiang Li's coronation caused all Thirty-Six Peaks to resonate. The Fortune Forging Giant Cauldron and the sect's fortune dragon also responded, while spiritual energy throughout the Holy Land rapidly intensified 169.

Resources and Privileges

• Contribution system — The Holy Land uses two forms of currency. Transformation Class disciples may claim cultivation resources first if they possess sufficient contribution points 30.
• Sect-protecting and True Immortal-level arts — The Holy Land possesses at least five True Immortal-grade cultivation arts: Ten Directions Thunderous Exorcism Scripture, Supreme Profound Mystery Canon, Great Luo Golden Creation Scripture, Primordial Unity Myriad Laws Art, and Star Transformation 162.
• Holy Son resource priority — As Holy Son, Jiang Li may use resources from the secret vault, including five portions of Lightning Attribute Heavenly Fiend Qi and ten portions of Fire Attribute Heavenly Fiend Qi obtained from other Immortal Sects 201.

• Yin Puppet Sect suppression — The Holy Land mounted coordinated attacks on sixty Yin Puppet Sect secret communication points after internal spies were uncovered 20.
• Internal cleansing — With the Heart Questioning Mirror, Jiang Li exposed and punished disciples guilty of serious wrongdoing; Punishment Elder Cui Yan supported these actions and later cleared Jiang Li after he exposed Yin Puppet Sect spy Chen Guang 54 56.
