Within the Pure Land, hundreds of millions of Buddhist followers bowed to Fang Yang and Green Emperor, chanting the Buddha's name. Boundless Buddhist light shone everywhere, while the power of their faith washed over the Future Dharma Realm again and again like ocean tides.
Though these followers were not numerous compared with the Future Dharma Realm's current user base, the power of their faith was exceptionally pure. It could be used to build higher-order structures within the Dharma Realm and was an immensely valuable asset.
Under the plan Fang Yang and Green Emperor had worked out, the followers would pray for six double-hours and serve as menial workers in the Dharma Realm for three double-hours each day. Their rank would then rise according to the quality of the faith they provided, improving their treatment.
Ordinary followers' lifespans would be calculated from the natural years they had been allotted before their untimely deaths. The higher their rank, the longer they could live in the Dharma Realm.
