Fang Yang solidified his Emperor Fall Years Dao Fruit and reached the pinnacle of the Immortal King realm before leaving the Heaven-Connecting Land. In the Immortal Domain, Ye Fan used the Immortal Gold Token to kill a True Immortal who insulted the Heavenly Emperor, leaving two pursuers afraid to attack or flee.
Ye Fan escaped the two True Immortals in the Immortal Domain, while Fang Yang entered the Exotic Domain disguised as the reborn Red King, calling himself Fang Yin. He won the Undying Kings’ wary acceptance by recounting Anlan and Wushang’s deaths and returning their remains, and promised to protect their clans.
Fang Yang, posing as Fang Yin, joined the Exotic Domain and helped prepare its invasion of the Immortal Domain while concealing his plan to control the war’s cost. The Exotic Domain’s army reached an Immortal Domain pass, where Kun Di’s forces attacked the defenses and tried to provoke the Immortal Kings into coming out to fight.
While the Immortal Domain’s kings endured Exotic Domain taunts and waited for Butcher, the Green Emperor began ascending to the Other Shore, drawing the True World’s attention. At Mount Ling, Maitreya Buddha removed the Wondrous Bodhi Tree to free the Demon Buddha, only to find the Three Treasures Ruyi on Five-Finger Mountain.
Fang Yang’s demonic seed grew into a newborn Legend evil demon in the Nine Netherworlds, attracting the attention of the Black Heavenly Emperor. When the Black Heavenly Emperor traced the avatar’s past and tried to kill it, Nine Chaos Heavenly Venerable intervened, leaving the reason for his protection unclear.
Fang Yang secured the Nine Netherworlds’ protection, established a Plateau for evil demons who praised the Copper Coffin Master, and prepared for his future ascent to the shore. In the Immortal Domain, Butcher’s return turned the battle against the Exotic Domain, but a dazzling Emperor Dao radiance then triggered strange transformations across both realms.
Butcher killed Kun Di during the pure white emperor light’s transformation and discovered that Kun Di’s Dao Ring could strengthen him through a new cultivation system. As the Immortal Domain and Exotic Domain Kings fought over Dao Rings and Dao Bones, Fang Yang revealed his Quasi-Immortal Emperor power while posing as Fang Yin, and Qi Yu began to suspect the two were connected.
Qi Yu recognized Fang Yin as the powerful Fang Yang but hid his suspicion as the Immortal Domain Kings fought and failed to stop him. Fang Yang completed the Netherworld’s creation, prepared it to produce powerful divine weapons, and weighed his chances of reaching the Other Shore before turning his attention toward Doushuai Palace.
Fang Yang cultivated in the Netherworld while the Sword and Ark of Doomsday advanced toward Creation Perfection, as Human Emperor Gaolan ruled half the True World and Qi Zhengyan held the other half. When Maitreya Buddha and the Monster Race attacked Great Zhou, Gaolan summoned the Human Emperor’s Remains and called for Fang Yang’s aid; Fang Yang recognized a chance to use the He Transforms into Freedom Art.
Fang Yang defeated Maitreya and the Monster Race Great Sages at Changle Imperial Capital, claiming the Human Emperor's Remains and the Wondrous Bodhi Tree. In the Immortal Domain, Ye Fan challenged Gu Tuo and rejected his offer to become an adopted son, declaring his loyalty to Fang Yang.
After Gu Tuo trapped Ye Fan in a Dao Furnace, Ye Fan broke through to Battle Immortal and later proved his strength in a private fight with Gu Tuo. When Fang Yang arrived in the Immortal Domain with the aura of an Immortal King and signs of advancing further, Ye Fan tried to defend himself from Duan De’s blackmail by claiming his Heavenly Emperor Fist honored Fang Yang.
Fang Yang completed his breakthrough to Quasi-Immortal Emperor, ordered Ye Fan and Duan De to repair the Immortal Domain, and examined the Human Emperor’s remains for clues about his death. In the Nine Netherworlds, he faced Ghost Emperor Xuanming’s demands for an alliance, confident that the terrain favored him.
