[Vegeta! Vegeta!!]

[You should be able to hear my voice. I am North Kai, one of the four Grand Kai of the North, South, East, and West, and the god who governs our North Galaxy. I am currently making contact with you through special means...]

[Do not be in such a hurry to cut off my telepathic connection. Although we are strangers, and you have likely never even heard of my existence, I must tell you something now, and you must take it seriously, for it concerns your life and the future of this universe.]

[The Frieza you are facing right now still has one more transformation!]

[With your current ability, you should be able to kill Frieza right now! So do not hesitate, and certainly do not doubt me. Otherwise, if he completes his final transformation, even if you become the legendary Super Saiyan, I fear you will not be his match...]

Relying on his superior combat ability and agile fighting style, Vegeta was firmly suppressing Frieza throughout the battle.

Even though he could no longer make Frieza feel fear or dread his strength as easily as before, Frieza could not hope to gain the slightest advantage either.

Just as Vegeta had calculated, with their power levels being equal, he could keep Frieza pinned down.

Originally, this battle was going quite smoothly; at the very least, Frieza's third form served as a decent punching bag.

However, he then heard a series of voices continuously transmitting into his mind.

This voice not only affected his combat performance but also caused him to lose focus, allowing Frieza to seize a slight advantage and launch a powerful counterattack.

No matter how foolish he might be, Vegeta knew exactly who was speaking and what his purpose was.

Had this been before he confronted Frieza, if North Kai had reached out to him, he might have at least offered a polite response.

He might have even considered that building a good relationship could provide him with an ally to exploit later.

But appearing now was simply the wrong time; he was clearly being treated as a tool.

While fending off Frieza's violent onslaught, a momentary lapse in concentration caused Vegeta to take a punch to the chest, sending his entire body reeling backward.

The next second, before Vegeta could even recover, a terrifying energy blast surged toward him, swallowing his position in the blink of an eye.

"BOOM!!!"

The energy blast shot off into the distance, the terrifying power seemingly splitting the world in two and leaving behind a horrific abyss.

The surface of the water was severed, and as the energy swept across the islands, the smaller ones exploded into fragments, while the larger ones were sliced in half.

"Oh ho ho ho! Vegeta, to lose focus while fighting this king, you truly are too arrogant! I warned you, opposing this king means death!!" Frieza laughed loudly.

It seemed that after this strike, even if Vegeta wasn't dead, he would be severely wounded.

Once Vegeta suffered a massive blow, there would be nothing left to fear.

Thick smoke shrouded the spot where Vegeta had been, refusing to dissipate for a long time.

It appeared as if Vegeta had truly been finished off, leaving no sign of life.

Frieza laughed incessantly, sharp words spilling from his mouth as he criticized Vegeta.

Time ticked away second by second; Frieza could not have known that Vegeta was currently communicating with North Kai.

No!

It was North Kai being given a thorough tongue-lashing by Vegeta.

He had been fighting perfectly well and had been steadily suppressing Frieza, only for him to pop up and ruin his rhythm.

In a battle between equals, the slightest fluctuation or error could determine victory or defeat.

In a life-or-death struggle, it could even decide who lived and who died.

North Kai had no defense against Vegeta's rebuke.

After all, it was his interference that caused Vegeta to be caught off guard by Frieza, leading to that barrage of attacks.

It was fortunate that Vegeta possessed sufficient strength, or he would have truly been done for.

Ending the communication with North Kai, the sound of Frieza's mockery continued to ring in his ears, doing nothing more than flaunting his own power while ridiculing Vegeta's stupidity.

"Sigh~ there are two great illusions in life: that your phone is vibrating, and that you can turn the tables... You currently fall into the latter category. Two lessons weren't enough, and you just had to try again." Vegeta sighed speechlessly, shook his head, and spoke.

His voice carried across the field, causing Frieza's laughter to come to an abrupt halt.

Frieza could not have imagined that after two full minutes, Vegeta would finally speak, and with such a tone.

"You, you actually didn't die! How is that possible?!" As the smoke cleared, Frieza's eyes widened as he caught sight of Vegeta.

Vegeta had taken so many of his attacks and yet remained completely unscathed.

Most importantly, if he was fine, why had he played dead for so long, letting him be happy and blather on for ages?

Now, he had been slapped in the face again.

The greatest illusion in life—though he didn't know what a vibrating phone meant—he had to admit the part about turning the tables!

He had indeed been too simplistic, believing he could finish Vegeta off in one go.

It seemed now that if he didn't transform into his final form, he truly couldn't take down Vegeta.

"No need to be so surprised. Isn't it normal that I didn't die? I was just letting you taste the flavor of victory for a moment. The game is about over, and you can transform into your final form now." Vegeta took the initiative to speak, addressing Frieza.

North Kai's warnings fell on deaf ears.

Because he understood Frieza better than North Kai ever could.

Upon hearing this, Frieza's eyes widened as his mouth hung agape.

After a long silence, he spoke in utter disbelief: "How... how did you know that I possess yet another transformation?"

He had intended to mention it earlier, but had held his tongue.

Now that Vegeta had brought it up, it was clear his trump card had been known all along.

To be honest, Frieza wasn't particularly shocked that Vegeta knew about his second transformation; once someone knew he could transform, it wasn't difficult to guess that he might have another one up his sleeve.

But now that Vegeta had revealed knowledge of his final form, it was obvious this wasn't a guess—he knew exactly what was coming.

Receiving no answer from Vegeta, Frieza's expression darkened once more: "So, you knew from the very beginning and kept quiet just to watch me make a fool of myself?!"

"It wasn't me making you look like a fool; it was your own arrogance. You imagined me to be so weak that after every transformation, you thought you could finally kill me," Vegeta said coldly.

"Are you really so confident that you can contend with my final form? You clearly have no idea how terrifying my power will be once I complete my final transformation." Frieza suddenly regained his composure, and his aura underwent a massive shift, becoming entirely different from before.

Vegeta sensed the change and braced himself.

"Enough. Instead of wasting time talking, you'd better transform already!" Vegeta said.
