Tens of thousands of kilometers away, in the distant southern Woodland, another beam of light soon appeared and entered the tower below. A clear chime rang out, audible to everyone inside.
"An incoming communication. Let's take a look." The mages stationed there rose at the sound. Before long, the equipment finished connecting, and a hazy image appeared within the array.
