Background / History

Camilla is the twin sister of Queen Katera and a member of the dwindling Sea Cliff Bloodkin royal family. She was formerly the first heir of the Blood-Colored Royal Court and a candidate for the throne. Katera accused her of coveting the throne and colluding with outside enemies, defeated her in a clash of bloodline power, and had her restrained. 356

The sisters inherited exceptionally pure royal blood, but their mother fostered instability and rivalry between them, believing a future Blood Clan Queen needed ambition, cunning, and survival instinct. Camilla considers herself the less ambitious twin; as Katera grew more driven, their childhood closeness deteriorated into a distant, guarded relationship. 674

Katera eventually crippled Camilla’s Aspect Power and drove her from the Royal Court. After losing much of her strength, Camilla drifted alone across the Ice Sea before being rescued by fishermen near Windbreak Bay. Her bloodline began awakening inherited memories of Colevanti, the last restorer of the Blood Dynasty. Fearing that these memories would overwrite her identity—and suspecting Katera might already be influenced by the same inheritance—Camilla researched a Fifth Order potion to suppress her bloodline. Sylutia and an Inquisition Hall team found Camilla asleep within a blood-colored cocoon. Sylutia entered her dream, helped her retain her sense of self through memories of their friendship, and taught her the forbidden Blood Law technique Pulse Counterflow. 486 491
