After a night had passed, Xilutiya and Amelia woke from their dreams. Though only one night had gone by, they felt as though they had spent decades dreaming. Melancholy's life and experiences were now deeply etched into their minds.
Combined with the Silver Radiance Church's conclusions and experience regarding the spread of plagues, this made Amelia realize just how dangerous the Fourth Continent's current situation was. If the plague could not be contained, it would ultimately sweep across the entire continent and kill countless people, just as the Riot of the Mad Crows had all those years ago.
"I understand. Over the coming days, I'll compile those experiences and secret arts, then discuss how to pass them on with Their Eminences."
"Then I'll leave it to you, Amelia." Xilutiya gratefully embraced the blue-haired girl before her and gently patted her back. Then she released her and waved goodbye.
"I'm sorry, but I still have a mission to finish, so I can't stay here too long. Next time I see you, Amelia, I'll bring you some local specialties from the Woodland."
"It's all right. I'm already happy enough just to see you, Tia." Amelia shook her head, indicating that she need not worry about such a little thing.
"Good luck, Tia." With that, she raised her hand and waved goodbye to Xilutiya.
Afterward, Xilutiya spread her wings and flew out of the Great Library, soaring straight into the clouds. She found Camilla and the Nightmare Carriage, who had been waiting for quite some time, and the two set off once more toward the Woodland.
Shortly after Xilutiya left, Amelia reported the matter to the three Named Ones. She had thought she would need to carefully choose her words to persuade Their Eminences, but to her surprise, their attitudes had changed considerably
