Long Yun was originally the Primordial Rainbow Dragon, an ancient Dragon Clan progenitor who existed before the Dragon God. He was the Dragon God’s partner and sacrificed his body, divine core, and origin to protect the Dragon God during the God Realm’s campaign against the Dragon Clan. His true spirit escaped, eventually reincarnating in a male human form. 1 124

Over tens of thousands of years, he traveled Douluo Continent and used elemental control to aid early humans: creating rivers, halting floods, and restoring barren land. His deeds earned widespread reverence before the God Realm gradually replaced his legends with those of newer gods. 127 135
