Amidst the endless traversal of time and space, Mu Yang arrived in a strange world that appeared little different from his own.
"Where is this?" Mu Yang scanned his surroundings; he was on a planet, an unfamiliar one.
"Baby!" Soon, Mu Yang heard a strange voice. Startled, he quickly looked behind him and spotted the figure of Son Goku.
However, compared to the Son Goku of his own timeline, the Son Goku of this timeline was much younger.
Mu Yang understood what kind of world he had arrived in; this was the era of the Super Saiyan 4 events.
Meanwhile, in the Super Dimension.
Time flew by, and seven years passed in the blink of an eye.
As usual, the Supreme Kai appeared, followed by Majin Buu breaking through his seals. The Z Fighters were no match, and events unfolded just as they had in the original story.
Majin Buu devoured many, even consuming Vegito—the fusion of Son Goku and Vegeta—but at the critical moment, Mu Yang returned.
Having honed his strength since his trials in the Super Saiyan 4 timeline, Mu Yang easily annihilated Majin Buu.
After Majin Buu was destroyed, Earth returned to a long-lost peace.
Just as Mu Yang was enjoying life, he suddenly sensed that Beerus had awakened. Following a series of events, Mu Yang gave Beerus a sound thrashing, venting the frustration of having been forcibly taken away back then.
Then, Champa arrived to demand a tournament. Mu Yang cared little for it, and the tournament passed quickly. With the help of this competition, Mu Yang successfully completed the Dragon God Power.
His strength reached a new level.
Later, during the Zamasu incident, he quelled everything in the future timeline without the slightest effort and used his immense power to reconstruct the future world.
At the Tournament of Power, the strongest Universe 7 lineup emerged, though it no longer concerned Mu Yang much; his strength had quietly reached the pinnacle of the entire multiverse.
On the Ascension Ladder, in a vast, white space.
Mu Yang easily climbed to the 999th floor and saw a space he recognized—it was the very place where he had met the Mother of Angels.
"So that's how it is." Everything dawned on Mu Yang, and he felt a sense of relief.
Following the subsequent fusion with the Dao, heaven-defying phenomena were released across the twelve universes and the Tournament of Power.
Dragons and phoenixes soared, and all sounds fell silent.
Mu Yang's voice resonated: "The celestial numbers have shifted, and destiny dictates it. In 10 years, I shall preach the Dao in the World of Void."
The overwhelming power pressed everyone to the ground, not even sparing the Grand Minister.
Countless gods and mortals were shocked!
The Tournament of Power concluded smoothly.
Ten years later, the preaching began. Mu Yang organized all his insights and taught the new power system to the masses.
Dragon Ball officially entered a new era!
Mu Yang was honored by all the gods as the "Dao Ancestor."
Mu Yang merged his path with the Mother of Angels.
Countless years passed.
It was unknown how much time had gone by.
In a void-like space, a magnificent Crystal Palace stood tall.
Mu Yang stood with his hands behind his back, head bowed, as if watching something.
"What are you looking at?"
Bulma spoke, followed by Vados, the Mother of Angels, Android 18, and a series of other beauties—all of whom shared a fated bond with Mu Yang.
Ever since he merged with the Dao, Mu Yang had brought them all here.
"I'm watching a show. It's about time for me to make an appearance." Mu Yang smiled faintly; this matter had some connection to him as well.
"Then hurry back. Come to my room tonight." Bulma rolled her eyes; they had been a married couple for so many years, after all.
"Fine." Mu Yang was left between laughter and tears, then turned his gaze back to the multiverse below.
The war between the Grand Minister and the Dragon God Zalama had ended.
"Zalama, you have lost." The Grand Minister stood with his hands behind his back, looking at the Dragon God Zalama with indifferent eyes.
In this war, the Dragon God had played all his cards. Although the Grand Minister was in a similar state, he had ultimately won the final battle between kings.
"Lost, have I... Sigh..." The Dragon God Zalama let out a sigh. Until the very end, no miracle had occurred; the one who created miracles was, in the end, not favored by them.
"Actually, we could have coexisted peacefully." The Grand Minister also sighed, looking at the Dragon God Zalama with regret.
"As long as you do not let miracles fill the universe, only one of us can exist." The Dragon God Zalama's gaze calmed; one could not tell he was about to perish.
"Why did it have to come to this?" The Grand Minister's eyes were desolate. From now on, there would be one less fellow Daoist to speak with.
"This is a clash of ideologies," the Dragon God Zalama said calmly.
"Indeed, ideologies." The Grand Minister sighed even more deeply. How many gods had been harmed by a single ideology? The entire universe had suffered another catastrophe because of one.
Even the Divine Realm had been closed due to this war, to prevent mortals from being dragged into the conflict between gods.
Whether it was the Grand Minister or the Dragon God Zalama, both had actually fought with great restraint.
"Can miracles and stability truly not coexist?" the Grand Minister said with regret, his gaze sharpening as he prepared to send the Dragon God Zalama on his final journey.
At that moment, a brilliant white light suddenly erupted across the sky.
Bathed in the radiance, a figure emerged.
This figure was none other than Mu Yang, who had just arrived.
"Dao Ancestor." The Grand Minister bowed slightly, not daring to show the slightest negligence.
"Your Excellency, Grand Minister, my purpose in coming here today is to take the Dragon God Zalama with me," Mu Yang said kindly, looking at the Grand Minister as if he were an old friend, yet his tone allowed for no rebuttal.
"I understand. The Dao Ancestor may take Zalama." Knowing that resistance was futile, the Grand Minister agreed; no one could change the Dao Ancestor's mind.
How this world developed, and in what direction, was ultimately for the Dao Ancestor to decide.
"Dragon God Zalama, are you willing to come with me?" Mu Yang turned to look at Zalama, a smile on his face.
The Dragon God Zalama gave a wry smile, then bowed respectfully and said, "I shall strictly obey the Dao Ancestor's decree!"
Amidst the flawless, boundless white light, Mu Yang guided the Dragon God Zalama away.
The Grand Minister watched in a daze, his mind drifting into memories of the past. Who could have imagined that the little fellow he once viewed as a junior would achieve such heights today?
It was truly inconceivable! Before he knew it, the boy had leaped even higher than himself.
"Perhaps this is what change is."
"The future, after all, belongs to these young people."
For the first time, the Grand Minister felt his age. It was about time to retire; he was tired, and he no longer had the energy to manage everything.
However, as for who his successor might be, the Grand Minister did not yet know.
(The End)
