Match 1: Zhang Wutian vs. Tien Shinhan

Sharp, sky-piercing black hair—though currently sporting bangs, it would eventually develop into a receding M-shaped hairline in adulthood—born with immense combat power, the super-genius warrior crowned with the name of a planet: the Saiyan Prince, Vegeta.

At this moment, he was wearing a Turtle Hermit School martial arts uniform that would be absolutely impossible to see on him in the orthodox Dragon Ball World, bearing the name of Son Goku as he whispered to Krillin.

Are you kidding me, world?! Forcing Vegeta to be Son Goku is like insisting a woman is a man just because you drew her that way. If Vegeta is here, then what happens to the real Kakarot? The plot is going to be completely ruined!

Seeing Zhang Wutian staring at him with a look of utter shock, Vegeta—well, his name is Son Goku in this world, so let us follow the local customs—Son Goku curled his lip in dissatisfaction and spoke up: "What are you looking at? Is my face that rare?"

"It is indeed quite rare. To be honest, you gave me a start."

With a cold sneer on his face, Son Goku said bluntly: "There are even more surprising things to come, like this!"

In the next instant, Son Goku appeared in front of Zhang Wutian at blinding speed and threw a punch.

But his fist was intercepted by someone other than Zhang Wutian.

Son Wukong had also vanished and reappeared just as suddenly, blocking Son Goku's path and using her arm to deflect the incoming strike.

Two people, both wearing Turtle Hermit School uniforms and possessing an eerily similar aura, stood in a standoff.

"You're a woman, yet your strength is quite impressive. Completely different from the weak Bulma. Who are you?"

Continuing to exert pressure on his opponent, Son Goku's sneer shifted into a look of scrutiny as he asked.

"I am Son Wukong. You are not allowed to lay a hand on Zhang Wutian."

Son Wukong puffed out her cheeks, straining to hold back the pressure coming from the other side.

"Son Wukong? Interesting." Son Goku suddenly withdrew his strength, took a step back, and said to her: "You aren't from the Turtle Hermit School, yet you wear their uniform, and you even have a tail like me. Son Wukong, is it? Even your name is so similar to mine. I'll remember you."

Then, he shifted his gaze to Zhang Wutian and said disdainfully: "And you, coward hiding behind a woman. If we meet on the ring, I will teach you a good lesson. Wash your neck and wait for it."

"Zhang Wutian is not a coward! His combat power is even higher than mine. If you meet him, you're the one who will definitely lose!!" Son Wukong shouted back indignantly.

"I hope so, otherwise this tournament will be too boring." After a cold laugh, Son Goku returned to Krillin's side.

"Come on, Goku, they just took a look at you, no need to make such a fuss." Krillin advised from the side, offering an apologetic nod to Zhang Wutian.

"Hmph, I hate that kind of look, like they're staring at some rare specimen. Anyone who dares to look at me like that gets a beating," Son Goku said grumpily.

Meanwhile, Zhang Wutian asked Son Wukong: "So, is that guy strong?"

"Very strong." Son Wukong rubbed her arm and said: "I used a lot of force, but I couldn't budge him at all. It seems he was still holding back. I didn't expect to run into someone this strong here."

As she spoke, there was no sign of discouragement on Son Wukong's face; instead, a battle-hungry smile emerged.

"As expected of the super-genius Prince. They say his combat power was already over four digits at birth. I probably can't beat him right now, but that's what makes fighting interesting, isn't it? If you keep crushing weaklings, your body will rust. Sometimes you have to deal with a Roaring Dragon that jumps out of nowhere."

Zhang Wutian's cheat code kept him permanently positioned as a challenger. To him, fighting someone stronger than himself was the only way to grow. Therefore, encountering a Vegeta-version of Son Goku who might be stronger than him didn't make Zhang Wutian feel fear or retreat; instead, it ignited a fighting spirit as high as any Saiyan's.

Seeing the two of them completely unfazed and filled with fighting spirit, Son Goku smiled silently.

Tien Shinhan, however, was stunned.

"I couldn't see it... even with my Third Eye, I couldn't see it. Are the people from the Turtle Hermit School all monsters?"

"Tien, what's wrong?" Seeing the cold sweat on Tien Shinhan's face, Chiaotzu asked anxiously.

"No, it's nothing." Unwilling to show his distress in front of his junior, Tien Shinhan took a deep breath and said: "According to the original plan, use your psychic powers to rig the draw. Make me face that guy named Zhang Wutian first so I can test their true strength, and then we'll do this and that..."

"Okay!" Chiaotzu nodded and began to use his psychic powers to interfere with the draw.

And so, the freshly minted match-up table was revealed to everyone.

Match 1: Zhang Wutian vs. Tien Shinhan, Match 2: King Chappa vs. Pamput, Match 3: Son Wukong vs. Son Goku, Match 4: Krillin vs. Chiaotzu.

"This match-up..." Zhang Wutian glanced at Chiaotzu, knowing exactly what happened: "In a way, it's quite fitting. Very well, let's deal with Tien Shinhan first."

Then, the final tournament of the 22nd World Martial Arts Tournament officially began.

Zhang Wutian and Tien Shinhan both stepped onto the ring.

"Let me observe that guy's fight. I hope he isn't a useless piece of trash."

With his arms crossed, Son Goku stood beside Krillin with a cold sneer, watching the battle.

Next to them, Son Wukong cheered loudly for Zhang Wutian.

"Go for it, Zhang Wutian! Defeat Tien Shinhan!"

Zhang Wutian gave a V-sign to Son Wukong below the ring, then stood opposite Tien Shinhan.

"Come on, Tien Shinhan. Just as we said before, let's settle this on the ring."

"Hmph!" Having seen the brief clash between Son Wukong and Son Goku, Tien Shinhan didn't dare to be careless. He cautiously took his stance.

"Let me see what you're capable of."

"Come on, I'll show you right now."

Following the command of the announcer in sunglasses, Tien Shinhan took the initiative and attacked Zhang Wutian first.

"Ha!!" Tien Shinhan charged head-on, then suddenly circled behind Zhang Wutian and delivered a hand-blade strike.

Zhang Wutian stood his ground, his body motionless, blocking the strike using only his arm.

Tien Shinhan, having had his first strike blocked, launched a continuous barrage of attacks, circling Zhang Wutian's body while delivering a flurry of punches and kicks.

Yet Zhang Wutian did not even shift his feet; he stood rooted to the spot, relying solely on the movement of his arms to parry every single one of Tien Shinhan's attacks.

"Damn it! Don't look down on me!" Tien Shinhan naturally sensed Zhang Wutian's ease. Growing increasingly anxious as he fought, he finally flashed backward to put some distance between them, and his body began to undergo a transformation.

"Damn it! Taste my Four Witches Technique!"

With two extra arms sprouting from his back, the four-armed Tien Shinhan charged at Zhang Wutian once more.

This time, Zhang Wutian assumed a punching stance, and the moment Tien Shinhan closed the distance, he threw a punch into the empty air in front of him.

"Empty Fist!"

Tien Shinhan went flying backward with a trail of blood spurting from his nose, crashing down at the very edge of the ring, mere inches away from falling off.

Below the ring, Master Shen and Chiaotzu were dumbfounded; they had never expected that Tien Shinhan, whom they viewed as overwhelmingly powerful, would be so easily defeated.

"How is this possible?! The gap in our levels is that vast..." Being toyed with like a child, Tien Shinhan stared at Zhang Wutian in disbelief, his fighting spirit rapidly waning.

"Tien Shinhan, are you afraid?" Zhang Wutian asked from the ring.

"Afraid? Would I, Tien Shinhan, ever be afraid?!" Tien Shinhan gritted his teeth and glared at Zhang Wutian, putting on a brave front, but his slightly trembling body betrayed him.

"That kid over there." Zhang Wutian pointed in the direction of Son Goku: "I probably can't beat him, but I will never give up on challenging him. Constantly challenging the strong is what makes a true martial artist; someone who only throws punches at the weak is nothing more than a thug."

"Hmph, you certainly have a way with words. Is this your way of showing weakness to me?" Hearing Zhang Wutian's words, Son Goku sneered.

"Zhang Wutian isn't showing weakness; he's just telling the truth!" Hearing Son Goku's slightly disparaging remark, Son Wukong, eager to defend Zhang Wutian, said indignantly: "When I first met him, he couldn't even beat the wild monkeys in the mountains and was sent flying by a single punch from me. But he kept challenging me, and now he's stronger than I am. He will prove it with his actions."

"Is that so? I'll look forward to it, then. But before that, the person who interests me more is you. Don't you dare disappoint me, little girl."

"Hmph! I'm not a little girl, I'm taller than you!" Facing the overbearing Son Goku, Son Wukong stuck out her tongue and made a face.

"..." Stung by the truth, a flash of embarrassment crossed his face. Son Goku, whose height had always been a sore spot, said nothing as he used the Flight Technique to lift his feet slightly off the ground, turning his head away in disdain.

I won't lower myself to the level of a girl who hit her growth spurt early. I'll just keep this score in mind and see how things stand in three years. Hmph!
