In just another instant, under the rotation of that sphere of light, a massive amount of energy surged in from all directions, gathering frantically.

The universe is vast, and the power contained within it is truly terrifying.

Yet, despite the light sphere growing larger as it absorbed this vast power, Beerus did not seem particularly concerned.

Although he recognized the potency of the light sphere, he still didn't take it to heart, for if this was all there was to it, it wouldn't be enough to truly capture his interest.

"If you wish to resist thirty percent of my power, you would need to be able to absorb one-tenth of the universe's energy."

"But, are you certain you can achieve that?"

Beerus looked at Soya. He was in no rush to strike, his gaze filled with anticipation as he watched the young man.

Perhaps, deep down, he held a sliver of hope that Soya could actually pull it off and surprise him.

"So, it takes one-tenth of the universe's power to defeat you?"

A smile touched Soya's lips. If that was the only requirement, he didn't take it to heart at all, for he was capable of far more than that.

"Lord Beerus, you said it would take one-tenth of the universe's power to cause you harm. I wonder, then, how much damage I might inflict if I were to utilize one-quarter of the universe—specifically, the power of the North Galaxy."

Soya's voice was calm. As of now, his Heaven Origin Cannon was nowhere near its limit.

The moment these words fell, a violently ravenous suction force erupted from the light sphere.

"Boom!"

Two breaths.

In just two breaths, every bit of energy in the entire North Galaxy that hadn't already been absorbed came rushing toward the sphere in front of Soya.

Though it sounds slow, the entire process was completed in a single instant.

Having absorbed the power of the entire North Galaxy, the light sphere before Soya transformed into a sphere of pure black.

The moment the black sphere appeared, a terrifying, unimaginable power radiated from it.

Anything that dared to draw near would surely be utterly annihilated.

Having fully absorbed the power of the North Galaxy, the sphere before Soya had expanded to several yards in diameter.

The scale of the North Galaxy is beyond imagination.

With such power condensed into a sphere only a few yards wide, one could only guess at the terrifying level of energy contained within.

At this moment, as the sphere fully took shape, even Beerus's gaze sharpened.

"I never imagined you could actually absorb the power of the entire North Galaxy. I truly underestimated you."

Beerus's expression grew solemn; Soya's feat had indeed exceeded his expectations.

"Lord Beerus, now that it has come to this, do you still believe your thirty percent power can handle it?"

Soya looked at Beerus and spoke slowly.

"I suppose I shall have to try it to find out."

Beerus's eyes flashed as he looked at Soya.

"Heaven Origin Cannon!"

Soya let out a roar, his internal power exploding outward as he channeled the massive black energy into a singular, surging force, launching it directly at Beerus.

"Boom!"

The black, multi-yard-wide energy mass roared forward, closing the distance to Beerus in an instant.

As it surged, the surrounding starry sky began to crack, spiderwebbing in every direction.

Gusts of the Wind of Annihilation blew from the fissures, washing over both Soya and Beerus.

Soya paid the Wind of Annihilation no mind; his current strength allowed him to ignore it entirely.

As for Beerus, it went without saying.

Both of them let the Wind of Annihilation blow past them unchecked.

"Let me be the one to destroy your strongest strike!"

Excitement flared on Beerus's face. As the Heaven Origin Cannon roared toward him, he raised both hands, and purple energy immediately began to coalesce.

"Haa!"

With a low growl, a purple sphere appeared between Beerus's hands, formed from his Power of the God of Destruction.

Though the sphere was small, it contained a force capable of shaking the very vacuum of space.

"This is the peak of my power at thirty percent. I hope your technique can withstand it."

Beerus looked at Soya, hoping that the Heaven Origin Cannon was more than just a hollow display.

"Whoosh!"

A streak of purple energy surged forth in an instant, closing the distance to Soya's Heaven Origin Cannon.

Without a moment's hesitation upon contact, the two forces collided head-on.

Each of these energy streams possessed unimaginable power, and as they clashed, the entire starry sky began to collapse.

What a world-destroying force this was; everything before it could only be reduced to ruin.

If it had ended there, it might have been fine, but this was merely the beginning, as neither force had yet unleashed its full potential.

"I don't think I'll let you down!"

A sharp glint appeared in Soya's eyes.

In truth, even he did not have absolute certainty.

After all, Beerus had never truly revealed his full strength in the Dragon Ball World.

For someone whose power was such a mystery, Soya had no idea just how strong his thirty percent really was.

However, there was one thing Soya did believe.

That was, when faced with the might of his Heaven Origin Cannon, this thirty percent of power was no sham; it was Beerus's most authentic strength.

The collision of the two forces continued, canceling each other out, locked in a stalemate.

Gathering all the power between heaven and earth in the universe, converging it into one point to erupt with the greatest might.

Once Soya's own strength became sufficiently powerful, he could even gather the power of the entire universe.
