"To withstand thirty percent of my power, you'd have to absorb one-tenth of the universe's energy.
"But are you sure you can do that?"
Beerus looked at Soya. He did not rush to attack; instead, he watched him with an expectant look.
Perhaps some part of him was looking forward to seeing Soya pull it off and surprise him.
"One-tenth of the universe's power is what it takes to defeat you?"
A smile appeared at the corner of Soya's mouth. If that was all it took, he truly had no reason to worry. He could do more than that.
"Lord Beerus, you said I'd need one-tenth of the universe's power to hurt you. So I wonder how much damage I could do if I used a quarter of the entire universe—in other words, the power of the galaxy."
Soya's voice was calm. As things stood, his Heaven Origin Cannon was nowhere near its limit.
So the moment his words fell, an incredibly violent force of absorption burst out from the sphere of light.
"Boom!"
Two seconds passed.
In just two seconds, all the energy in the entire North Galaxy that had not already been absorbed rushed toward the sphere of light before Soya.
It seemed to happen slowly, but in reality, it was all completed in an instant.

"Lord Beerus, now that it's like this, do you think you can still handle it with thirty percent of your power?"
Soya looked at Beerus and spoke slowly.
"We'll have to see after I try."
Beerus's eyes flashed as he looked at Soya.
"Heaven Origin Cannon!"
Soya shouted. The power within him erupted, and he sent the enormous mass of black energy hurtling toward Beerus.
"Boom!"
The several-meter-wide mass of black energy surged forward, reaching Beerus in an instant.
As it shot forth, cracks appeared throughout the surrounding starry sky, spreading like a spiderweb.
Gusts of the Wind of Annihilation blew out through the cracks and swept over Soya and Beerus.
Soya paid no attention to the Wind of Annihilation. With his current strength, he could completely ignore it.
The same went without saying for Beerus.
Both of them simply let the Wind of Annihilation blow over them.
"Let me destroy your strongest attack!"
Excitement showed on Beerus's face. As the Heaven Origin Cannon thundered toward him, he raised both hands, and purple energy gathered between them.
"Ah!"
A low growl rang out. A purple orb appeared between Beerus's hands, formed from his Power of the God of Destruction.
The orb was small, but it held a force powerful enough to shake even the vacuum of space.
"This is my strongest attack while using thirty percent of my power. I hope your move can stand up to it."
Beerus looked at Soya as he spoke. He didn't want Soya's Heaven Origin Cannon to be all show and no substance.
"Whoosh!"
The purple energy shot out, and in an instant, it reached Soya's Heaven Origin Cannon.
It did not slow down at all as it drew near, colliding with it head-on.
Either of these two forces held power beyond imagination. As they collided, the entire starry sky began to collapse.
What world-destroying power! Before it, everything could only be destroyed.
But even that was only the beginning. Neither force had unleashed its full power yet.
"I don't think you'll be disappointed!"
Soya's eyes gleamed.
Even he wasn't completely certain how this would turn out.
After all, Beerus had never shown his true strength in the Dragon Ball World.
When faced with someone whose power was such a mystery, Soya had no way of knowing just how powerful thirty percent of Beerus's strength was.
There was one thing he did believe, though.
Facing the might of his Heaven Origin Cannon, Beerus was using his true power this time. There was no pretense.

The two forces continued to collide, canceling each other out and fighting for dominance.
Soya's Heaven Origin Cannon had been created through a special method and had absorbed the power of the North Galaxy.
Its might had already far exceeded Soya's expectations.
Soya's own power was 12,000 trillion, but after absorbing the entire North Galaxy's energy, the Heaven Origin Cannon's power far surpassed the force of those 12,000 trillion.
Its power had even increased a thousandfold—ten thousandfold!
That was the true power of the Heaven Origin Cannon.
It gathered all the power of the universe and the world, bringing it together to unleash its greatest might.
Once Soya grew strong enough, he might even be able to gather the power of the entire universe.
When that happened, even Beerus at full strength would have to take him seriously!
