Vegeta Defeated with One Finger!

Soya saw the shock on Son Goku's face, but he paid it no mind.

He was simply that kind of person; he would never use his full strength against the weak.

However, he would be equally merciless toward the strong.

Although his actions were an insult to Vegeta, if Vegeta wished to change the situation, he would have to train with everything he had.

Because only the strong could earn the respect of others.

This truth remained the same in any era and any world; it had never changed.

"Vegeta, this is your full-power strike. Since that is the case, let me show you my power."

Soya spoke slowly. As his voice fell, he raised his right hand and pointed a finger sharply at the incoming Galick Gun.

BOOM.

As his finger descended, a sphere of light instantly appeared at his fingertip.

Though it was merely a sphere of light, condensed from nothing more than a fingertip, it radiated a terrifying, unimaginable power.

BOOM.

It happened in the blink of an eye!

The moment the energy appeared at his fingertip and shot forth, it collided with Vegeta's Galick Gun.

Instantly, a terrifying storm erupted from the point of impact, raging in all directions.

Vegeta's Galick Gun shattered the moment it touched the energy from Soya's fingertip.

The residual energy scattered, causing the entire sea to roar incessantly.

Resistance? That was simply out of the question.

"Why!"

Vegeta's pupils constricted, his eyes filled with disbelief.

He could not bring himself to believe that his all-out strike had proven so fragile before Soya.

Such a thing was difficult for Vegeta to accept, and for a moment, he stood there in a daze.

Just then, having shattered the Galick Gun, the energy from Soya's fingertip struck Vegeta directly.

"Argh!"

A scream tore from Vegeta's throat.

The power of the fingertip energy was too great; even though Soya had held back, the immense force contained within was still more than Vegeta could withstand.

"Vegeta!"

Son Goku's expression shifted, and he immediately moved to rush forward and help Vegeta.

He was worried that Vegeta would not be able to endure Soya's energy.

After all, while the energy pulse had been small in size, the power contained within it was utterly exaggerated!

"Let him endure it himself. You can help him for a moment, but you cannot help him forever!"

Soya's voice rang out, reaching Son Goku's ears.

He meant well.

This might even turn out to be a good thing for Vegeta.

Otherwise, if Son Goku were to rashly intervene, he might actually end up harming Vegeta.

Son Goku froze upon hearing this, instantly grasping the meaning behind Soya's words.

Furthermore, seeing that Soya had no intention of killing Vegeta, he gave up on the idea of stepping in.

He realized that Soya's words were not without reason, and in fact, they were true.

Time passed.

In the blink of an eye, nearly ten seconds had gone by.

The energy finally dissipated, leaving Vegeta in a wretched state.

First, his battle armor was extensively damaged, a rare sight indeed.

As for his body, it was covered in dense wounds, and blood trickled slowly from the corner of his mouth.

His state had also reverted from Super Saiyan 2 back to his base form.

"How is this possible!"

Vegeta spoke weakly, unable to fathom that a casual strike from Soya had inflicted such heavy injuries upon him.

This scene unfolded far beyond his imagination.

"Nothing is impossible; I think you should know that better than I do."

"Although the Super Saiyan transformation is a way to boost combat power, the energy required for the transformation is immense."

"If you cannot destroy your enemy within a short period, then the transformation becomes more of a loss than a gain."

Soya smiled slightly, offering his own perspective.

"Furthermore, it is the same for Saiyans as it is for anyone else. Base combat power is what matters most. If your base form is strong enough, even without transforming, you can still unleash power capable of shocking even a Super Saiyan."

Soya explained.

He knew that both Son Goku and Vegeta relied too heavily on their Saiyan transformations.

While this was a good thing, it would be rather unfavorable if such a situation became a habit.

"I know, I don't need you to remind me."

Vegeta replied coldly, still acting as disdainful as ever, seemingly unaffected by his recent defeat at the hands of Soya.

"Soya, Vegeta has already lost. Can it be my turn now?"

Son Goku flashed before Soya, looking at him with impatience, his expression filled with excitement and thrill.

Just like Vegeta, he did not shrink back because of his opponent's strength.

Instead, his determination to test himself only grew firmer.

"Of course." Soya did not refuse Son Goku's request.

"However, I suspect that even if it is you, the result will be the same." Soya said.

"Soya, I have always had a question. Before we begin our fight, I wonder if you could answer it for me?" Son Goku asked, not attacking immediately.

"Go ahead. If I know the answer, I will tell you." Soya nodded.

"Can you turn into a Super Saiyan?" Son Goku asked.

In truth, Son Goku had initially believed that Soya was incapable of the transformation, but after hearing those words, he had changed his mind.

It was as if the man before him had a deeper understanding of the Super Saiyan state than both he and Vegeta.

Vegeta's interest was also piqued by Son Goku's question.

Because he, too, had begun to have his doubts.

Soya did not answer with words, choosing instead to nod.

"To deal with the likes of you right now, my base combat power is already sufficient. You are not yet qualified to see my Super Saiyan state."

Soya's words were not a boast, but the plain truth.

After all, if Son Goku and Vegeta could not even defeat his base form, how could he possibly justify transforming into a Super Saiyan to deal with them?

To put it politely, it was unnecessary; to put it bluntly, they weren't qualified yet!

However, his words effectively answered Son Goku's question.

He was perfectly capable of transforming into a Super Saiyan just like them!

Meanwhile, Vegeta's expression soured once again, looking as if he had just swallowed a dead fly.

Because he realized he had just been mocking this guy for being unable to transform.
