The death of Kusho is definitely suspicious!
Li Ke looked at the results of his simulation, feeling absolutely certain about this.
It seems there is definitely something wrong with Kusho; otherwise, Zed would never have reacted that way!
Li Ke was certain of this. In the hero stories he had seen, Zed killed Kusho and seized the treasure of the Kinkou Order that could unleash the dark power within a person's heart, which was how he became Zed and founded the Order of the Shadow.
But there was a problem: in Zed's backstory, no one actually saw Zed kill Kusho with their own eyes! Only Zed had walked out.
He remembered this very clearly, as he had enjoyed playing Zed quite a bit.
If that was the case, then things became very interesting.
It was highly likely that Kusho was not dead at all.
If so, many things suddenly made perfect sense.
As for the possibility that Zed was seduced by power, it certainly existed, but honestly, Li Ke did not think that was very likely.
Even if it was a classic trope.
But if he were being completely manipulated, why would Zed weep when killing him?
Furthermore, the simulator's choice of words was quite intriguing: when Zed feigned joining him, he was referred to as "Jie," but when he backstabbed him, he was referred to as "Zed." Li Ke could fully believe that in the simulation, the Zed who killed him was in great pain, yet felt compelled to do so.
So, why would someone capable of killing their own master to seize power and status do such a thankless job?
Even if he wanted to backstab him for the sake of power, this was definitely not the time to do it.
Given their relationship in the simulation, Zed could have easily framed the Noxians for his death after joining him, and as his comrade and close friend, he could have logically inherited his forces.
Instead of doing what he did in the simulation—killing him directly!
That gained him nothing, other than throwing Ionia into chaos and allowing forces that belonged to neither him nor Li Ke to rise!
Unless Zed had already become a madman, a lunatic who acted without any reason or method.
Therefore, there were only two possibilities: either Zed had truly become a madman, or there was something wrong with Kusho.
Li Ke did not want to believe that the world-renowned Kusho could be a villain, but after eliminating all other possibilities, the most unlikely one had to be the truth.
"With this, I have a rough understanding of the situation. I can use the remaining simulation attempts to improve my own strength."
Li Ke narrowed his eyes. This final simulation had basically determined his path forward. Clearly, with Shen following him, he didn't need to worry about trouble along the way.
Shen's strength far exceeded his own; he just needed to hold onto his thigh.
As for Irelia, Xayah, or Ahri, they were all fleeting clouds. It was evident from the simulation that these three women...
Were actually quite helpful to him...
Irelia could help him build a faction, Xayah could bring the Vastayan army, and Ahri could absorb the excess memories in his brain to prevent him from suffering a mental breakdown.
Li Ke had been choosing the "vague memories" option with the least benefit during this time precisely because his mind couldn't handle the strain.
Memories are a crucial part of a person's composition; many small habits and personality traits exist because of them.
Simulating would cause him to gain the memories of another person out of thin air.
His previous confusion regarding his swordplay was caused by these memories appearing from nowhere.
If it were just simulating the future, that would be fine, but if it were like the simulation where he lived and practiced swordplay in Arad, and he did it a few more times, would the Li Ke existing here still be the transmigrator, or just an ordinary swordsman from Arad?
What if he accidentally became a different race?
What if he accidentally turned into a woman?
What if he accidentally became a character he hated?
What if he experienced a bone-deep romance in the simulation?
Ahri's ability to consume memories could help him maintain his sense of self. He naturally wouldn't let her eat the crucial memories, but useless ones like eating, sleeping, and playing games could certainly be fed to that fox.
"It does feel a bit like being a kept man, though."
Sitting in his room, Li Ke decided not to overthink it and looked at the results of this simulation.
Simulation complete.

Li Ke didn't think much of it, but just as he was about to subconsciously select option 2, he saw the last few names in option 3.
"It's about the same as last time... Wait? What's with the names at the end??"
Aurelion Sol.
The Star Forger.
Leona, Diana, the couple officially declared by Riot as Aspects.
Zoe, the Aspect of Twilight, the only enemy of Aatrox.
Soraka, Star Mom, Starchild.
Pantheon, Aspect of War.
Ryze, holder and protector of the World Runes.
"What have I done to deserve the attention of such big shots?"
Li Ke's face turned green. Setting aside the question of whether Aurelion Sol even sleeps, was his act of intercepting the Noxus army really such a big deal? Was it enough to draw the attention of these titans to the point where their own fates were being altered by him?
He could understand Pantheon; after all, he was the Aspect of War, so naturally, he would take notice of someone who fought wars well.
But what about the others?
Was this world really that small?
After much deliberation, Li Ke considered running another simulation, but after calming down and thinking it over, he decided against it.
There was no need.
In these few simulations, his only shortcoming was a lack of raw power; he hadn't seen much of a deficit in wisdom or direction, so strength remained the most important priority.
"It's just..."
Looking at the mental energy he had almost accumulated for another simulation, Li Ke's face darkened.
He could certainly wait a while to simulate again, but there was still one important thing left undone.
Without another word, he pushed open his own door, marched to the room where Shen had just fallen asleep, and kicked his door wide open while the man was still in a state of utter bewilderment.
"Sleep my ass! Get up and party!"
Shen wanted to kill Li Ke again.
