"Are you Neiz? What are you doing on Henghe Planet?"
Cui walked out of the command center and looked up at Neiz in the sky.
"Of course, I'm here on King Cooler's orders to kill you," Neiz said.
"Neiz, I serve King Frieza. If you dare lay a finger on me, King Frieza will tear you to pieces!" Cui said.
"Too bad Frieza can't save you now. Prepare to die!" Neiz said.
Neiz powered up and charged at Cui.
"Beep, beep—boom!"
Cui activated his Scouter to check Neiz's battle power. When it reached 22,000, the Scouter exploded.
"Thud!"
Neiz punched Cui, sending him flying more than a hundred meters.
"Thud!"
Neiz quickly caught up with Cui and punched him into the ground, smashing a crater five meters deep into the earth.
"Boom, boom, boom!"
Then Neiz fired more than a dozen energy blasts into the crater.
"His battle power has disappeared. Looks like he's dead. What a weakling—he didn't even last a minute," Neiz said, looking at the Scouter.
"Now it's your turn!" Neiz said, looking at the Frieza Force Third Legion's soldiers.
"Boom, boom, boom!"
"Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!"
An hour later.
"Boom!"
After Neiz killed the last Frieza Force Third Legion soldier with an energy blast, he boarded a Round Space Pod and left Henghe Planet. But he didn't notice that one soldier was still barely alive.
"We were attacked by Neiz of the Cooler Force. Lord Cui and all our brothers are dead. Great King, avenge us!"
The soldier picked up a Scouter nearby and switched it on to send the message.
After delivering the message, the soldier died of his injuries.
"Reporting to Your Majesty, the Third Legion was attacked by Neiz of the Cooler Force. Lord Cui and all the Third Legion's soldiers have fallen," a soldier said, approaching Frieza aboard a huge spaceship.
"Cooler, so you're determined to oppose me. Deliver my order: increase our speed and wipe out the space pirates on Longji Planet before Cooler's reinforcements arrive!" Frieza said.
"Yes!" Dodoria and the others answered.
Frieza's fleet then sped toward Longji Planet.
"How much longer until we reach Longji Planet?" Cooler asked Salza, who stood beside his throne aboard a huge spaceship.
"Your Majesty, at least two days," Salza replied.
"How far away is Frieza from Longji Planet?" Cooler asked.
"Your Majesty, we should be able to reach Longji Planet before Frieza," Salza replied.
"Don't say 'should.' We must get there before Frieza. Deliver my order: make for Longji Planet at full speed," Cooler said.
"Yes!" Salza replied.
February 21, Kara Planet.
"Prince Leige, we've arrived at Kara Planet," Tagoma called from outside Leige's room.
"Got it," Leige replied.
Leige put on his Battle Suit, then led Tagoma and the others to the command center of the space pirates on Kara Planet.
Twenty kilometers from the Space Pirate 5th Army's command center, at the Riksa Defense Line.
"General, this is bad! A large enemy force is heading toward the command center," a green lizardman reported.
"Quick, tell the men to hit the enemy hard when they show up. Also, send a message to headquarters and request reinforcements," a crocodile man ordered.
"Yes," the lizardman replied.
"Boom, boom, boom!"
The Kara Planet space pirates attacked Leige and the Fourth Legion under his command with laser guns and cannons.
"Retreat!" Leige shouted.
He turned and ran back to the spaceship.
"Prince Leige has retreated. Should we retreat too?" a red-skinned bull-headed man asked Tagoma.
"Shisami, His Majesty sent us with Prince Leige to Kara Planet to keep an eye on him. We still have to follow his orders. Retreat!" Tagoma said.
Tagoma and Shisami then led the Fourth Legion's soldiers back to their spaceship.
"Commander, they've retreated. Should we pursue them?" a soldier asked the man in the commander's uniform.
"I'll check with the general first," the commander replied.
"General Tashi, this is Lido, commander of the 12th Regiment, 5th Brigade, 1st Division. The enemy has retreated. Should we pursue?" Lido asked Tashi over the radio.
"Commander Lido, we've just received intelligence. The enemy is Frieza's Fourth Legion. Their commander, Leige, is a child, but Tagoma and Shisami are backing him up. Don't let your guard down. I've already requested reinforcements from headquarters. The boss says we have to hold out until the Cooler Force arrives," Tashi replied over the radio.
"Yes, sir," Lido said.
Temporary command center of Frieza's Fourth Legion.
"Prince Leige, we could have wiped out those space pirates. Why did you order us to retreat?" Shisami asked.
"The space pirates are strong. If we fight them head-on, even if we defeat them, our forces will suffer heavy losses. We need a plan to eliminate them," Leige replied.
"Prince Leige, what should we do next?" Tagoma asked.
"Tagoma, at 20:00 tonight, lead the 19th and 21st Divisions in a raid on the Riksa Defense Line. You must lose, not win. If the space pirates pursue you, retreat toward our spaceship," Leige ordered.
"Yes, sir," Tagoma replied.
"R-reporting, Prince Leige! We've just received word that Cooler has sent Salza and the 39th Regiment to reinforce the space pirates. They're expected to reach Kara Planet in three hours," a soldier reported, approaching Leige.
"I didn't expect Cooler's forces to arrive so quickly—and Salza is a formidable opponent. Prince Leige, should we request reinforcements from His Majesty?" Tagoma asked.
Even Tagoma and Shisami together couldn't beat Salza.
"Salza only has one regiment. In an hour, we'll attack the space pirates' command center. When Salza arrives, I'll draw him away. You'll take care of the 39th Regiment he brings with him," Leige said.
"Prince Leige, that's too dangerous. As far as I know, Salza's battle power is 170,000—50,000 higher than Captain Ginyu's," Tagoma said.
He wasn't truly worried about Leige's safety. He was afraid Frieza would kill him if anything happened to Leige.
"Shisami, lead the Third and Fourth Divisions into ambush in Nisan Valley. I'll draw Salza there. Once he enters the valley, he won't be coming out alive," Leige said.
"Yes!" Tagoma and the others answered.
Three hours later.
"Lord Salza, we've arrived at Kara Planet," a dinosaur-like man reported.
"Leave one company to guard the spaceship. The rest, come with me," Salza ordered.
Outside the Space Pirate 5th Army's command center.
"Prince Leige, the Cooler Force is here," a soldier ran up to report.
"How far away are they?" Leige asked.
"Less than ten kilometers," the soldier replied.
"Tell the men to retreat!" Leige ordered.
"Yes, sir," the soldier replied.
"Commander, the soldiers from Frieza's force have retreated. Should we pursue?" a lizardman asked Lido.
"R-reporting, Commander! General Tashi sent word that the Cooler Force has arrived. He orders us to join them in wiping out Frieza's Fourth Legion," a soldier reported, approaching Lido.
"By my order, leave one company to guard the defense line. The rest, follow me and wipe out Frieza's Fourth Legion! Charge!" Lido shouted.
With that, Lido led his men in pursuit of Leige and the others.
Ten minutes later.
"Boom, boom, boom!"
Frieza's Fourth Legion clashed with Cooler's 39th Regiment.
"Boom!"
Salza hurled an energy blast at the Fourth Legion, killing many soldiers.
"Boom!"
Leige also hurled several energy blasts at Cooler's 39th Regiment.
"Are you Leige?" Salza asked, looking at Leige in the distance.
"And you're Salza, the Cooler Force's perennial runner-up?" Leige taunted.
"Who are you calling a runner-up? I'm the strongest member of Cooler's Armored Squadron!" Salza snapped.
"You have a younger brother named Savik, right?" Leige said.
"So you know my brother?" Salza replied.
"Here's something you should know: I killed your brother, Savik. I'll soon send you to join him," Leige continued, goading Salza.
"You're dead!" Salza snarled.
Salza finished speaking and quickly flew toward Leige. Just as planned, Leige led him toward Nisan Valley.
Twenty minutes later, outside Nisan Valley.
"Salza, the perennial runner-up! If you've got the guts, come after this prince! Salza, the perennial runner-up!"
Leige said.
After speaking, Leige flew into Nisan Valley.
"Damn you! I'll tear you limb from limb!"
Salza roared.
Salza flew into Nisan Valley as well.
"Boom!"
Salza caught up to Leige and punched him in the face, sending him crashing to the ground.
"Boom!"
Salza threw another punch at Leige. Leige punched back, and then the two grabbed each other's hands and began powering up.
"Beep, beep... Twenty-two thousand, thirty-five thousand, ninety thousand, one hundred and twenty thousand, one hundred and eighty thousand. What! His power level is still rising?"
Salza said, looking at the power level displayed on his Scouter.
"Hah!"
"Rumble!"
Leige shouted, raising his power level to five hundred thousand. Salza's Scouter exploded on the spot, and so did the Scouter belonging to Shisami, who was lying in ambush.
"Salza's power level is actually that high. Prince Leige can still hold out against him for so long?"
Shisami said.
Because Leige and Salza were so close together, Shisami assumed that Salza's power level had reached five hundred thousand. It never occurred to him that Leige's power level had reached five hundred thousand.
"Brothers, aim at Salza and open fire. Don't hit Prince Leige."
Shisami said.
After speaking, Shisami fired an energy blast at Salza.
"Rumble!"
"Ugh! You're despicable—you set an ambush!"
Salza said, looking at Leige.
"Did you think I'd really be stupid enough to duel you one-on-one?"
Leige said.
After speaking, Leige immediately broke away from Salza and quickly flew into the air.
"Open fire!"
Leige said.
After Leige spoke, the Third Division and Fourth Division fired laser shots and laser shells at Salza.
"R-A-I-N-D-O-W-N!"
Leige also fired hundreds of energy blasts at Salza on the ground in one go.
Five minutes later.
"Here's one more for you: F-L-A-M-E-I-N-G S-H-O-C-K-W-A-V-E!"
Leige shouted.
Leige fired a red energy wave into the cloud of dust.
"Salza must be so dead now he's beyond dead, right?"
Leige said.
"Host, with that kind of firepower, even Frieza couldn't take it, let alone Salza, whose power level is only one hundred and seventy thousand."
Xiao Bai said.
Sure enough, once the dust cleared, Salza was nowhere to be seen. All that remained was a crater more than ten meters across and ten meters deep.
"Come on. Let's wipe out those Space Pirates."
Leige said.
An hour later.
"Boom! Boom! Boom!"
Leige and the others completely wiped out the Space Pirates on Kara Planet, along with the 39th Regiment Salza had brought with him. Before leaving Kara Planet, Leige even had Tagoma turn it into fireworks.
