Legendary Super Saiyan

The palace, the main hall.

"Your subordinate Nappa pays his respects, Your Majesty! Long live the king!"

Nappa saluted a man in his early thirties.

"Rise, Nappa. Have you measured Leige's power level? How high is it?"

King Vegeta asked.

If Leige's power level was especially low, he would send him into exile on another planet. In his view, there was no point keeping a son by his side if he couldn't be of use to him.

"Your Majesty, the legend is true! Prince Leige is the Legendary Super Saiyan!"

Nappa said.

"I asked you what Leige's power level is. Answer me."

King Vegeta said.

King Vegeta was delighted to hear his son called the Legendary Super Saiyan, but what mattered most to him now was Leige's power level.

"Your Majesty, Prince Leige's power level is fifteen thousand!"

Nappa said.

"What? Fifteen thousand? Are you sure the Scouter isn't malfunctioning?"

King Vegeta asked.

His own power level was only a little over ten thousand. How could Leige's be higher when he had only just been born? Even though he and his wife, Rossi, were both Elite Warriors, their son couldn't possibly have a power level of over ten thousand at birth—unless the legend was true.

"Your Majesty, Dr. Kari used the latest model Scouter and measured Prince Leige's power level several times. It was fifteen thousand every time."

Nappa said.

"Then it seems the legend is true! Hahaha! Our race is on the verge of ruling the entire universe. Nappa, tell Kari and the others I appreciate their efforts. I've decided to reward each of them with five hundred Universe Coins."

King Vegeta said with a laugh.

"Yes, Your Majesty."

Nappa said.

Nappa then left the main hall.

"Just you wait, King Cold. Soon, I'll have you beneath my feet."

King Vegeta said.

Although the Saiyans hadn't formally allied with King Cold and his people, they had met privately several times. Those people had always looked down on the Saiyans.

King Vegeta then headed to his bedchamber.

"Your Majesty, greetings. What brings you here?"

A woman in her twenties asked.

"Rossi, you've given me a fine son. Leige is the Legendary Super Saiyan."

Vegeta picked Rossi up in his arms and said.

"It's all thanks to you, Your Majesty."

Rossi blushed.

"Then let's keep at it and try to have a few more Legendary Super Saiyans."

King Vegeta said.

After speaking, King Vegeta carried Rossi toward the large bed. What happened next wasn't suitable for children, so use your imagination.

The next day.

King Vegeta went to the Infant Incubation Room in person. He still had some trouble believing that Leige was the Legendary Super Saiyan.

"Greetings, King Vegeta! Long live the king!"

Dr. Kari saluted him.

"Rise. Take me to see Leige."

King Vegeta said.

"Yes, King Vegeta. This way, please."

Dr. Kari said.

Dr. Kari then led King Vegeta to the incubation pod where Leige was.

"Beep beep... Boom!!"

After seeing Leige, King Vegeta activated the Scouter he was wearing. It showed that Leige's power level had exceeded ten thousand and was still rising. When it reached twelve thousand, the Scouter exploded with a bang.

"Are you all right, King Vegeta?"

Dr. Kari asked.

"Do you think an explosion from this kind of Scouter could hurt me?"

King Vegeta asked.

"I wouldn't dare, Your Majesty. I was only concerned for your safety. This is the latest model Scouter, capable of measuring power levels over twenty thousand."

Dr. Kari said.

After speaking, Dr. Kari handed the new Scouter to King Vegeta.

King Vegeta took the new Scouter, put it on, and measured Leige's power level again.

"Beep beep. Leige really does have a power level of fifteen thousand!"

King Vegeta exclaimed in surprise.

"King Vegeta, Prince Leige is a genius unmatched in the entire universe, with the exception of Prince Cooler and Prince Frieza."

Dr. Kari said.

"Cooler and Frieza are nothing! Leige will surpass them sooner or later. My Leige will be the strongest king in the entire universe!"

King Vegeta said.

"Yes, yes. Prince Leige will surely help you ascend to the throne of Emperor of the Universe. Then we'll address you as Your Majesty."

Dr. Kari said.

Dr. Kari had even changed how he addressed him, from "King Vegeta" to "Your Majesty."

"Well said! Hahaha. By the way, Leige's power level at birth must be kept secret. If anyone can't keep quiet, I don't mind helping them keep it that way. Is that understood?"

King Vegeta said.

No one could learn of Leige's power level—not King Cold or his people in particular.

"We obey Your Majesty's command!"

Dr. Kari, Nappa, and the others shouted.

"Your Majesty, if King Cold asks about it, what should I say?"

Dr. Kari asked.

"Tell the public that Prince Leige is merely an Elite Warrior with a power level of one thousand."

King Vegeta said.

"Yes, Your Majesty."

Dr. Kari said.

"My good son, I can't wait to see how powerful you'll become."

King Vegeta said as he watched his sleeping son.

"Host, you've got some pressure on you now. King Vegeta has such high expectations for you."

Xiao Bai said.

"Pressure gives me motivation, but King Vegeta shouldn't expect me to defeat Beerus, the other Gods of Destruction, or the angels. Even as the Legendary Super Saiyan, I can't beat them."

Leige said to Xiao Bai. (From now on, he would be called Leige, except when he needed to hide his identity, in which case he would be called Ye Bainian.)

"Host, with this system's help, I can actually make you the king of all twelve universes!"

Xiao Bai said.

"Thanks, but I'll pass. If I really became the king of all twelve universes, I'd be worked to death."

Leige said.

"Xiao Bai, can you teach me how to control my ki?"

Leige asked.

Xiao Bai said.

Leige then began practicing how to control his ki in the Combat Space provided by the system, following its instructions.
