The Energy Heavy Cannon aboard the Frieza Ship fired a powerful energy wave at Lava Planet.

"Tell me! Where is the Fountain of Youth Water?"
A man in a Battle Suit grabbed a Lava Planet soldier by the neck and demanded.
"I don't know!"
The soldier answered defiantly.
"Angila, if he doesn't know, get rid of him."
An elderly, bald man with green skin said to the person holding the Lava Planet soldier by the neck.
"Yes, sir."
Angila replied.
"Thwack!"
After speaking, Angila punched through the soldier's vital organs.
"My lord, look! What's that?"
Another man in a Battle Suit looked up at the energy wave in the sky and spoke to the bald man.
"It's a Planet-Destroying Energy Wave fired from the Energy Heavy Cannon aboard a spaceship. The Frieza Force is here. They want to destroy me with that Planet-Destroying Energy Wave? Dream on! Su-per En-er-gy Wave!"
The bald, green-skinned man shouted.
The bald man with green skin flew into the air, gathered all his energy in his hands, and fired a powerful energy wave at the Planet-Destroying Energy Wave rushing toward him, trying to push it back.
"Boom!"
The two energy waves collided.
"Haah!"
The bald, green-skinned man used all his energy to push the Planet-Destroying Energy Wave back.
Outer space above Lava Planet.
"Get out of the way!"
Gele urgently shouted as he watched the Planet-Destroying Energy Wave being pushed back.
Jero quickly steered the Frieza Ship clear of the Planet-Destroying Energy Wave. A battleship behind the Frieza Ship was struck directly and reduced to ashes, and the ships around it didn't escape destruction either.
"Plan A failed. Legion Commander Gele, take two regiments and bring Guldo along. We'll buy the Energy Heavy Cannon time for a second shot."
Leige said to Gele.
"Yes, sir."
Gele replied.
Gele then ordered a soldier to pass on the command.
Lava Planet.
"Huff, huff."
The bald, green-skinned man panted.
"Long live Lord Slug!"
Angila shouted as he watched the bald man push the Planet-Destroying Energy Wave back into space.
"Long live Lord Slug!"
"Long live Lord Slug!"
The Slug Army's soldiers joined in.
"Silence! Angila, take some men and continue searching for the Fountain of Youth Water. Everyone else, get back to the spaceship. I'm going to kill every last member of the Frieza Force."
Slug said.
"Yes, sir!"
The soldiers of the Slug Army answered.
After taking a dose of energy-restoring medicine, Slug led his soldiers toward outer space.
"Prince Leige, Legion Commander, a large number of battleships are heading our way."
A soldier pointed to the ships appearing on the Dragon Radar and spoke to Gele.
"Prepare to engage!"
Gele ordered.
"Yes, sir."
The soldier replied.
Ten minutes later.
"Boom!"
"Boom!"
"Rumble!"
The Slug Army and Frieza's Fourth Legion engaged in a fierce space battle.
"Boom!"
"Rumble!"
Leige used the energy cannon aboard his battleship to destroy one of the Slug Army's ships.
"Which one is... Slug?"
Leige asked, looking at the elderly Namekian in a spacesuit who had appeared on the Dragon Radar.
Though Leige had been in the Frieza Force for less than two years, he had read the files on its enemies.
"Guldo, come with me. We'll kill Slug together."
Leige said to Guldo beside him.
"Prince Leige, Slug is too powerful. We're no match for him."
Guldo replied.
"Guldo, I know you have a technique called Time Freeze. If you can immobilize Slug with it, I'm confident I can kill him. If we manage to take him out, Father will reward us handsomely. Guldo, fortune favors the bold!"
Leige said.
"All right, Prince Leige. Let's go kill Slug!"
Guldo replied.
Although Guldo had joined the Ginyu Force because of his time-controlling ability, his low battle power meant that Burter, Recoome, Jeice, and Ginyu had always looked down on him. It would be great if he could earn enough merit in this battle to leave the Ginyu Force. He was at the bottom of the force in battle power, but outside it, his strength would be enough to make him a brigade or division commander in the Frieza Force.

Guldo said.
"Run!"
Leige shouted.
He reached Guldo, grabbed his hand, and fled more than a hundred meters. Slug appeared shortly after they escaped.
"That brat can sense battle power too. Still, you'll both die by my hand."
Slug said.
He continued chasing Leige and Guldo, destroying several inconvenient battleships along the way.
"Guldo, use Time Freeze! Slug will kill us sooner or later if you don't."
Leige said.
"Okay."
Guldo replied.
"Die!"
Slug said as he looked at Leige and Guldo, who had stopped.
Then he quickly flew toward them.
"Time Freeze!"
Guldo shouted.
As soon as he did, a powerful force immobilized Slug.
"Damn it! What kind of technique is this?"
Slug roared.
"Die! Flame Impact Wave!"
Leige shouted at Slug, who couldn't move.
Then he fired a powerful energy wave at him.
"Boom!"
The Flame Impact Wave struck Slug, shrouding him in smoke.
"Guldo, don't release Time Freeze! Slug is still alive. My Flame Impact Wave isn't strong enough to kill him."
Leige said.
Leige had kept his battle power at fifty thousand. That was nowhere near enough to kill Slug, whose battle power was over ten million, so Guldo quickly stopped himself from releasing Time Freeze.
"Legion Commander, can the Energy Heavy Cannon fire yet?"
Leige asked Gele over the Scouter.
"Prince Leige, the Energy Heavy Cannon is ready. Do you want to use it against Slug?"
Gele replied.
"That's right. Aim at Slug and fire. Once he's dead, I can easily wipe out the Slug Army after my Great Ape Transformation."
Leige said.
"Understood. Aim at Slug and fire the Energy Heavy Cannon!"
Gele shouted to the soldiers beside him.
At Gele's command, the soldiers aimed the Energy Heavy Cannon at Slug and fired the Planet-Destroying Energy Wave.
"Boom!"
A powerful energy wave shot from the Frieza Ship and swallowed Slug.
Slug never imagined that a Saiyan would be the one to outsmart him.
After the Planet-Destroying Energy Wave swallowed Slug, Leige felt his ki disappear. When the smoke cleared, Slug was nowhere to be seen.
"Guldo, you've done a great service this time."
Leige said.
"We managed to defeat Slug thanks to your plan, Prince Leige. I don't deserve the credit."
Guldo replied.
"Prince Leige, Guldo, come back at once! We're heading to Lava Planet to wipe out the Slug Army!"
Gele said to them through the Scouter.
Leige and Guldo then returned to the Frieza Ship.
11:00.
The Frieza Force took only three hours to eliminate the Slug Army's soldiers and officers who refused to surrender. Given the Fourth Legion's strength, wiping out the Slug Army should have taken at least six hours. But Leige had pulled a real stunt and created an Artificial Moon. Faced with Leige's battle power of five hundred thousand (he had lowered it to fifty thousand, so after the tenfold boost, it became five hundred thousand), two-thirds of the Slug Army's soldiers and officers chose to surrender. The remaining third were eliminated three hours later.

Gele returned the salute.
"Division Commander Leidore, where's your legion commander?"
Gele asked Leidore.
"My lord, our legion commander was killed in action. Including those seriously and lightly wounded, only a little over thirty fighters remain in the Twelfth Legion."
