"Thud! Boom!"

Zarbon killed one Heliorian with a punch, kicked another away, then fired an energy blast at three more.

The battle on Leige's side had begun too.

"Thud."

Helda punched Leige in the face, but Leige blocked it with his hand.

"Now you can see what it feels like to get punched in the face!"

Leige said.

"Thud! Thud!"

Leige punched Helda flying, then chased after him as he hurtled through the air. He kicked Helda into the sky, quickly followed him up, and punched him back down to the ground.

"Boom!"

Helda crashed into the ground, leaving a huge crater.

"Pfft!"

Helda spat out a mouthful of blood.

He felt as though every bone in his body had been broken.

"Are you dead? If not, get up and keep fighting me!"

Leige shouted at Helda in the crater.

"Boom!"

Helda fired an energy beam from his mouth.

"Rumble!"

Leige quickly activated an energy barrier and blocked the beam.

"Damn you! Go to Yama!"

Leige said.

Then Leige flew into the air.

"Bom-bard-ment!"

Leige shouted.

"Boom! Boom! Boom!"

Leige used Vegeta's "Prince Tactics," but the prince was only two years old at the time, so Leige shamelessly renamed the move "Bombardment."

Leige fired two hundred energy blasts into the crater where Helda lay, stopping only when he could no longer sense Helda's energy.

"Boom!"

"Rumble!"

To be safe, Leige fired another enormous energy blast. By now, there was probably nothing left of Helda.

"Your Majesty!"

The Heliorians fighting Zarbon looked toward Leige and shouted.

"Thud! Thud!"

"You dare take your eyes off your opponent in the middle of a fight?"

While they were calling out to Leige, Zarbon killed two of the Heliorians and said,

"Kill them! Avenge our king!"

One of the Heliorians said.

"Boom!"

Zarbon quickly flew up to the Heliorian and fired an energy blast right in his face.

Five minutes later.

Zarbon had dealt with all the Heliorians around him, and Leige had done the same. They had taken their time and gone easy on them; otherwise, they could have killed them all in a minute. Then the two of them headed for their spacecraft.

"Weren't you going to let me have some fun with Helda? Why did you finish him off?"

Zarbon said as they flew.

"I'll give you half the bonus I get for completing this mission."

Leige said.

"That's more like it."

Zarbon said.

Although he hadn't gotten to have fun with Helda, fighting Helda's underlings had been satisfying enough.

Ten minutes later.

Leige and Zarbon boarded the spacecraft. A few minutes later, they left Planet Hel.

"Mr. Zarbon, my power level isn't high enough to set off a firework. I'll leave this one to you."

Leige opened the spacecraft's hatch and stood on it, speaking to Zarbon, who was standing there too.

Leige had kept his power level at three thousand. That wasn't enough to destroy a planet; it took at least ten thousand. As for why Goku and Vegeta could fight on Earth later on, when their power levels were in the billions, perhaps Earth had grown stronger too.

"I haven't seen a firework in ages. I'll set one off today."

Zarbon said.

Then Zarbon fired an enormous energy blast at Planet Hel.

"Rumble!"

After a tremendous boom, a brilliant firework blossomed, and Planet Hel vanished completely from the universe.

"What a beautiful firework."

Zarbon said, watching it.

"Mr. Zarbon, this is the first time I've ever seen a planet turn into a firework."

Leige said.

"Stay with His Majesty, and you'll see plenty more planet-sized fireworks."

Zarbon said.

Then the two returned to the cabin and headed back to Frieza Planet No. 2.

Five days later, December 20, on Frieza Planet No. 2.

"Prince Leige and Lord Zarbon are returning. Hurry and greet them."

Some of the people at Frieza Planet No. 2's communications station had received word that Zarbon and Leige were on their way back. Their leader, a bear-headed man, spoke up.

The group lined up in two rows and waited for Leige and Zarbon to arrive.

Five minutes later.

"Boom!"

Two Round Space Pods landed. When the hatches opened, Leige and Zarbon stepped out.

"Welcome back, Prince Leige and Lord Zarbon!"

The people from earlier bowed when they saw Leige and Zarbon emerge from the Round Space Pods.

"Prince Leige, His Majesty said you can go straight back to the Prince's Palace to rest. Lord Zarbon, His Majesty wants to see you."

The bear-headed man said to Leige and Zarbon.

Leige returned to the Prince's Palace, while Zarbon went to see Frieza.

"How did Leige perform on this mission?"

Frieza asked, his back to Zarbon.

"Your Majesty, I didn't expect Leige to be only three years old. The bloodthirsty, ruthless nature of the Saiyans is already showing in him."

Zarbon said.

"He really is a promising one. What a pity he's a Saiyan, or I'd want to raise him as my successor. Leige hasn't been back to Planet Vegeta in a year, has he?"

Frieza asked.

"That's right, Your Majesty. Leige hasn't been back to Planet Vegeta for a year."

Zarbon replied.

"You and Leige did well on this mission. I'll give you both two months off. Let him return to Planet Vegeta to see his parents. You'll go with him."

Frieza said.

"Yes, Your Majesty."

Zarbon replied.

Then Zarbon left the palace hall.

Ten minutes later, at the Prince's Palace.

"Prince Leige, His Majesty said we did well on this mission and has given us two months' leave. He said you haven't been back to Planet Vegeta in a long time, so you should visit your parents while you're on leave. He also said I should go with you."

Zarbon said to Leige.

"All right. Sorry for the trouble, Mr. Zarbon."

Leige said.

He knew Frieza was sending Zarbon along to keep an eye on him. It had been the same on their earlier trip to Planet Hel.

"Prince Leige, when should we set off?"

Zarbon asked.

"We'll leave now. The sooner we go, the sooner we'll be back."

Leige said.

Then Zarbon led Leige to the spaceship Frieza had prepared for them. A Round Space Pod took six months to travel from Frieza Planet No. 2 to Planet Vegeta, but a spaceship could make the journey in just twenty days.

"Prince Leige, buckle up. I'm starting the spaceship."

Zarbon said.

"All right."

Leige said.

Then he found a seat and sat down.

Zarbon started the spaceship, and it left Frieza Planet No. 2, bound for Planet Vegeta.
