History

Orphanage and Sea of Quanta

Seele grew up under Cocolia's care alongside Bronya and other orphanage children. She voluntarily endured Cocolia's experiments, but was ultimately stranded in the Sea of Quanta because of them. 72 81

Within a Babylon Tower world bubble, Seele found imprisoned children subjected to human experimentation. Her own Honkai-energy talent caused researchers to select her more frequently, which she accepted in hopes of reducing the other children's suffering. She also became determined to free them from the tower. 72 74

Seele witnessed Sirin's suffering and eventual destruction of the tower, followed by the world bubble's reset. After the reset, Seele herself became imprisoned alongside the children. 72 74 75

Rescue from the World Bubble

Ming Yu and Project Bunny located Seele within the Sea of Quanta, though she initially could not perceive them. Ming Yu established contact through Seele's Honkai-energy diary and agreed to help her save the children. 74 75

To break the world bubble's nightmare, Seele agreed to play Sirin's mother in an illusion of ordinary family life. She reunited with Project Bunny, cooked with Ming Yu, and helped create the warmth Sirin needed to resolve her inner turmoil. 81 84

After escaping the world bubble, Seele returned to the original world and reunited with Bronya in Changkong City. 91

Life at St. Freya Academy

Seele moved into the St. Freya dormitory with Bronya and began preparing to enroll at the academy. 92

Her early combat ability was limited. Theresa trained her with a scythe, judged her to be too weak, and suggested that Rita teach her proper scythe techniques. 94 95

Despite learning of Cocolia's death, Seele chose not to hate her former caretaker. She acknowledged both Cocolia's years of care and the wrongdoing that merited punishment. 150

Herrscher of Death

Following a Sea of Quanta mission with Bronya, Seele became the Herrscher of Death. Rather than emphasizing destructive uses of her authority, she chose to heal injured Valkyries and became St. Freya Academy's physician. 221 225

Her Creation authority can restore flesh and bone and even revive the dead, but it cannot heal damage rooted in consciousness or the soul; this is why she could not awaken Fu Hua from her coma. 221

She tends to trust others readily, but this kindness is paired with quiet resolve. She agreed to take on a parental role in Su's illusion because doing so could save Sirin and allow her to leave the Sea of Quanta. 81

Although she recognizes Cocolia's crimes, Seele does not respond with hatred. She believes wrongdoing deserves consequences while still remembering the care Cocolia once gave her. 150
