The room fell terrifyingly silent for a moment. "Miss Clearwater, are you all right?" Molly Weasley, who had hurried over at the sound, quickly swept her gaze around the room. Once she realized who the person in the black smoke was, she forced herself to ask.
Coughing kept coming from inside the smoke. Penelope walked out of it, one eye turned black and blue. The telescope she was clutching had a long spring sticking out of its tip, with a tiny fist attached to the end.
Penelope lowered her head and looked at the little fist, then casually tossed the telescope aside. She waved at Molly, who was coming toward her, to indicate she was fine. That level of force could not hurt her.
Allen and the other two suddenly appeared in the room. They had heard the explosion and immediately Apparated back to The Burrow.
Because of the concern Allen's actions represented, Penelope walked forward with her face full of joy. Her usually cool, beautiful face—now sporting a black eye—revealed a charming smile. "Allen, it's fine. It was a prank prop the twins haven't finished developing."

Looking at herself in the mirror, Penelope cried out and immediately raised a hand to cover her eye. She turned her back and covered her eye, trying to keep Allen from seeing what she looked like now, and attempted to heal herself with Charms, but it did not seem to have any effect.
