Blair the Banshee

The vintage car turned into a burden now. By the time they flew it to the Ministry of Magic in London, it had taken far longer than Apparition would have, so when Allen reached the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures, Luna had already been there for quite a while.

Luna was sitting in the visitor's chair in Josephine Harris's office, playing with a pair of black, fluffy earmuffs. The Banshee currently imprisoned in the Ghost Department had been prepared for Allen and Luna; they wanted to study the Banshee and Peeves in the hopes of giving Helena the five senses humans possessed, such as touch and taste.

When Josephine saw Allen and Penelope come in, she set down the documents she had been marking. "All right, everyone's here. Let's go to the Ghost Department. That Banshee has been giving the staff there headaches for a long time."

Outside the door of the Ministry of Magic's Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures, Ghost Department, Josephine Harris handed Allen a pair of black, fluffy earmuffs. "Put these on. A Banshee's cry is deadly." She gave Luna, who was beside Allen, an identical black pair, while she herself removed her hat and put on a pair of pink, fluffy earmuffs, then quickly put her hat back on and straightened the ribbons on it.

Penelope ignored the fluffy earmuffs. As Allen's guard, she intended to stand watch at the door.

Seeing that Allen had also put on the earmuffs, Josephine pushed the door open. The first thing they saw was a pentagram formation, inside which a Banshee was firmly imprisoned. Her black hair dragged along the floor, her face was like a skull, and she glowed green. Her mouth was stretched wide open; she was clearly screaming.
