Izuna looked at Kangetsu, the corners of his mouth curling up as he said, "Kangetsu is so amazing! Even better than big brother!"
"Yeah! Brother Kangetsu is definitely better than Brother Madara!"
Youngest of them all, Meigetsu still spoke with a hint of a milky lisp, but the consequence was that Uchiha Madara was left completely dumbfounded, frozen in place!
Kangetsu, however, frowned slightly at this moment, for he had just felt a surge of killing intent enter his body. This sensation was the effect of practicing the Killing Fist. The Killing Fist was, in essence, the art of killing; whether it be the body or a weapon, as long as it could take a life, it was the Killing Fist. Just now, when Kangetsu swung his sword, he had instinctively utilized the Killing Sword!
With this Killing Sword combined with the first step of the Killing Fist—the infusion of killing intent—Kangetsu had already completed his training. Thus, when this trace of killing intent entered his body, Kangetsu naturally sensed it.
Possessing an extremely keen perception of his own body and killing intent, Kangetsu fixed his eyes on the humanoid puppet before him.
His right hand gripped the hilt! In an instant, Kangetsu drew his blade, a flash of silver light streaking from bottom to top. A blue radiance clung to the steel, and as it flickered alongside the silver light, the humanoid puppet was instantly cleaved in two!
Yet, Kangetsu merely stared at a bead of blood on his blade, a faint, disdainful smile tugging at his lips. He swung his sword once more, this time slicing across the throat.
A geyser of blood erupted as the head of the humanoid puppet took flight. An unknown mask fell away in mid-air, revealing a ferocious, twisted face to the four of them! The head began to split apart in the air, for Kangetsu had already struck it with a hidden blow before the decapitation.
The head split cleanly into two halves in mid-air before crashing to the ground.
A dull thud echoed, followed immediately by a thunderous crash!
The headless corpse split apart into two halves, collapsing onto the floor.
Blood pooled across the wooden floorboards, while red and white fluids dripped from the severed head, drip, drip, drip, onto the wood.
Time seemed to stand still. Uchiha Madara, Uchiha Izuna, and Uchiha Meigetsu all stood with eyes and mouths wide open, staring at the scene.
Suddenly, a scream pierced the air. Meigetsu, standing beside Kangetsu, grabbed his left hand and shrieked, "Brother Kangetsu! Brother Kangetsu!"
Uchiha Madara and Uchiha Izuna couldn't help but tremble, though they forced themselves to remain calm as they watched.
Kangetsu's face remained indifferent, his eyes so cold they seemed capable of freezing a man to death. The sword in his right hand was still dripping blood.
With a light flick, Kangetsu sent the blood splattering onto the floor. As the droplets flew, they shimmered a brilliant red under the sunlight, and the temperature in the room seemed to plummet into the depths of winter.
Kangetsu's cold eyes scanned the remaining three humanoid puppets.
His sword trembled slightly in his hand, and in the next heartbeat, he hurled it. The blade spun through the air, hurtling toward the three puppets, and in an instant, a shocking scene unfolded.
The spinning sword glided effortlessly across the throats of the three puppets, carrying away three heads as blood began to trickle slowly from the stumps. Kangetsu, his eyes indifferent, turned his gaze toward a corner of the room.
