First Blood

Izuna looked at Kangetsu and said, "Kangetsu, you're amazing! Even better than my big brother!"

"Yeah! Big Brother Kangetsu is better than Big Brother Madara!"

Meigetsu, the youngest, still spoke with a slightly babyish voice, but his words left Uchiha Madara utterly dumbstruck, as though he had turned to stone!

Kangetsu, however, frowned slightly. He had just felt a strand of killing intent enter his body! This sensitivity came from practicing the Killing Fist. The Killing Fist was, in essence, the art of killing. Whether one used the body or a weapon, as long as it could kill, it was the Killing Fist! When Kangetsu had swung his sword just now, he had instinctively used the Killing Sword!

Kangetsu had already mastered the Killing Sword, along with the first stage of the Killing Fist: drawing killing intent into his body. Naturally, he knew when that strand of killing intent entered him!

Highly sensitive to his own body and killing intent, Kangetsu fixed his eyes on the human puppet before him!

His right hand gripped the sword hilt! Kangetsu drew the blade, and a silver streak flashed upward from below. A blue glow shone along the blade, sweeping past in an instant together with the silver flash! The humanoid puppet before him split down the middle into two halves!

Kangetsu's eyes settled on a blood-red droplet on the blade. A faint, disdainful smile tugged at his lips! Then he swung his sword again, this time across the throat.

A column of blood erupted, and the head of what had appeared to be a humanoid puppet flew into the air. An unfamiliar mask fell away in midair, revealing a hideous face before Kangetsu and the other three! The head slowly split open in the air, because Kangetsu had already struck it once before cutting it off!

The head separated into two halves in midair, then fell to the floor!

They landed with a thud, followed immediately by a crash!

The headless corpse split into two halves and collapsed onto the floor!

Blood flowed across the room's wooden floorboards. Red liquid mixed with white dripped from the head onto the wood, drop after drop!

Time seemed to stand still. Uchiha Madara, Uchiha Izuna, and Uchiha Meigetsu all stared at the scene with their mouths hanging open and their eyes wide!

A scream suddenly rang out. Meigetsu, standing beside Kangetsu, grabbed his left hand and shrieked, "Big Brother Kangetsu! Big Brother Kangetsu!"

Uchiha Madara and Uchiha Izuna also shuddered involuntarily, then forced themselves to stay calm as they watched.

Kangetsu's face remained expressionless, his eyes so cold they seemed capable of freezing someone to death. Blood still dripped from the sword in his right hand.

With a light flick, Kangetsu shook the blood from his blade onto the floor. The droplets glinted red in the sunlight as they flew! The room suddenly felt as cold as winter!

Kangetsu's cold eyes swept over the other three human models.

The sword in his hand swayed slightly. Then, in the next instant, Kangetsu hurled it. The blade spun through the air toward the three human models, and a shocking scene unfolded.

The spinning sword skimmed across the throats of all three human models, sending three heads flying as blood slowly streamed from them! Kangetsu watched with indifferent eyes, his gaze fixed on a spot off to the side!
