Night of the Clan Extermination

After carrying the little ones back home, Fei Shi began preparing a meal for them.

Kakashi and Might Guy followed along as well; they had tasted Fei Shi's cooking before, and if there was a chance to snag a free meal, they certainly weren't going to miss it.

Half an hour later, the four little ones woke up and began to eat as soon as they saw the food.

Fei Shi also took the time to explain Conqueror's Haki to the children.

In the days that followed, the four little ones began training desperately to master Haki, while Kakashi and Might Guy had already begun training in Haki alongside Fei Shi.

Fei Shi used the system to implant the three types of Haki into their bodies; as for whether they could truly grasp them, that would depend on their talent and hard work.

Days turned into weeks, time slowly slipped by, and in the blink of an eye, two years had passed.

The four little ones had started learning Haki a year ago.

Among them, Naruto had the best grasp of Armament Haki, taking two months to master it, followed by Neji at two and a half months, Sasuke at three months, and Hinata at four and a half months.

As for Observation Haki, Neji and Sasuke tied for first at three months, Hinata came in second at five months, and Naruto took eight months.

Even Kurama, watching from the sealing space, couldn't bear to look anymore.

Kakashi and Might Guy, who were learning alongside them, were a different story.

Kakashi grasped Observation Haki just one month into his training, and Armament Haki in two.

Might Guy achieved a preliminary grasp of Armament Haki in twenty days, and mastered Observation Haki in two and a half months.

Fei Shi could already imagine these two becoming the nightmares of Konoha Village in the near future.

Currently, Kakashi and Guy were already able to coat their weapons and two-thirds of their bodies in Armament Haki; their progress could only be described as rapid.

The four little ones were a bit slower, with the exception of Naruto. His Armament Haki was steadily growing stronger, unlike Sasuke, Neji, and Hinata, whose progress was not as apparent.

Lying on a lounge chair with a girl in his arms, he enjoyed the beauty of the moonlight.

A figure landed in the trees, waiting silently for orders.

Yugao Uzuki blushed and ran off.

"Alright, speak. Have all the preparations been made?"

"Yes, everything is ready. That creature you mentioned, the White Zetsu, has already transformed into the appearance of the people who are to be evacuated."

"Good."

Fei Shi closed his eyes, and after a moment, he opened them slowly, a pair of Rinnegan appearing in his eye sockets.

"I told you, didn't I? You will be the one to finally raise the butcher's knife against the Uchiha. So, have you met with Danzo?"

Itachi Uchiha remained silent, his mind drifting to the days he spent running back and forth between the village and the Uchiha clan.

He had witnessed the Uchiha walking step by step toward their own destruction; he had tried to stop it, but there was no way. Unless the hawks were removed, the other Uchiha clansmen would never wake up, for the Uchiha Clan was generally paranoid, arrogant, and conceited. They possessed a blind, misplaced confidence in their Sharingan.

He recalled the hawks attempting a coup, Danzo threatening Sasuke's life, and the helplessness in his father's eyes.

He, too, had made up his mind to be reborn through death.

To deceive Danzo, the body count had to be accurate.

Fei Shi had sought out the White Zetsu wandering around Konoha Village.

How could Black Zetsu not have arranged for White Zetsu to monitor Konoha Village in order to keep an eye on Fei Shi and the Nine-Tails jinchuriki, Naruto?

Fei Shi then had Itachi Uchiha use Shisui's Mangekyo Sharingan—"Kotoamatsukami"—to control one White Zetsu. That White Zetsu then slowly lured the others over.

Fei Shi then tossed those White Zetsu directly into the system space, and once he activated his Rinnegan, he brought them under his control.

Now, hundreds of White Zetsu had transformed into the likenesses of the people to be taken away; children, the elderly, and other non-combatants were all accounted for. Minato Namikaze was also in position, ready at any moment to use the Flying Raijin to spirit the Uchiha clansmen away. Those who advocated for a falling out with Konoha and launching a rebellion were already on the death list.

The transformation of a White Zetsu is difficult to perceive, except through the Nine-Tails' ability to sense malice, and that was even more true with the illusions cast by Fei Shi's Rinnegan, which were more than enough to pull the wool over everyone's eyes.

The only one who might have seen through it all, Black Zetsu, was being run ragged by Fei Shi's Wood Release clones. All the White Zetsu within the Land of Fire and the Land of Wind were being harvested like leeks by Fei Shi's clones, and he was currently off investigating the cause.

Thus, a Danzo and an Obito would be unable to see through the illusions cast by the Rinnegan.

Once the strongest clan in Konoha, and indeed the entire Ninja World, they would from this day forth exit the stage of the Ninja World and move into the shadows.

Fei Shi cast his illusions, walking right past Obito Uchiha, who was currently slaughtering the Uchiha clan; Obito Uchiha did not notice a thing.

Other clones were also distributed throughout the Uchiha compound, casting illusions, and everyone was trapped within them.

Fei Shi looked at Obito and sneered, his eyes filled with contempt.

Obito found Itachi Uchiha and claimed to be Madara Uchiha, explaining that he had been unable to face Fei Shi because his own goals had wronged Fei Shi's grandmother and father. He then spun a web of rhetoric around Fei Shi to persuade Itachi to join him, insisting that with his help, Fei Shi would not stand in his way, and so on.

Little did he know, this was a ruse orchestrated by Fei Shi and Itachi to ensure Itachi infiltrated the Akatsuki just as he had in the original timeline. The goal was to provide intelligence to Minato Namikaze and his allies from within the organization, which eventually led to the scenario where Obito helped Itachi slaughter the Uchiha Clan.

However, by now, those who were meant to die were dead, and those who shouldn't have died had been spirited away by Minato Namikaze.

He had just seen Jiraiya join the operation as well.

Fei Shi walked to Itachi's side, watching as Itachi swung his blade to cut down one "clansman" after another.

Fei Shi had moved all the people marked for death over to Obito's side. After all, having indirectly killed his master, murdered his master's wife, and "hugged" his junior brother Naruto, making him a little darker wouldn't hurt.

Head after head fell to the ground, and Itachi finally arrived at his own home, standing before his parents.

Fei Shi, meanwhile, cast several Fire Style ninjutsu, burning down many houses, leaving only the clan leader's residence untouched.

"It seems you have made your decision."

Itachi Uchiha did not speak. Nearly a hundred, perhaps even more, clansmen were to die today. Moreover, he had participated in every part of this plan, and he felt deep shame.

"What did those old fogies say?"

"I must do it myself... they will spare Sasuke, and Sasuke will... in the end, Sasuke will be the one to carry the glory of the Uchiha."
