The video had already played several times. Forget proving that Yan Huan had something wrong with his brain—it was practically turning into a commendation ceremony for Yan Huan.
Aha kept tapping the table, deeply puzzled.
Something wasn't right.
Why did everything he did seem more normal the longer they watched?
Had everyone on the Space Station really misunderstood him?
At that moment, the giant screen was still playing footage of Yan Huan during his time on the Space Station.
Aha directly interrupted.
"Wait, stop playing the Space Station footage. Play the ones I gave you!"
Every single one of Herta's videos had been thoroughly rebutted by that elementary school kid.
If this kept going, the situation would really become one-sided.
This had obviously been something with no suspense at all, so why was it getting more absurd the further it went?
"Very well. Since Mr. Aha, our sponsor, has said so, let's switch the footage!" Asta said happily as she looked at the giant screen.
"Hold on." Aha stood up again.
"Mr. Aha, is there anything else you require?" Asta asked, tilting her head.
"I want to ban her." Aha pointed at Wen Shiling in the Audience Gallery, his expression utterly serious.
"Huh?"
Asta blankly looked toward Wen Shiling below the stage. Indeed, Wen Shiling's performance today had been far too outstanding.
If she were allowed to keep going, the consequences would be unthinkable.
"But, Mr. Aha, wouldn't that be unfair?" Asta frowned, her lovely brows drawing together. "Don't people say the public sees things clearly? If there really is something wrong with what Wen Shiling said, someone should stand up and refute her, shouldn't they?"
Aha: "..."
"Besides, Wen Shiling is still a minor. Is it really okay to put her in the ban slot like this?"
At this moment, Yan Huan also stood up and said arrogantly,
"Ah, it's fine. Ban her if you want. Does my Ai Huan group only have General Wen as its sole capable commander?"
He waved at Wen Shiling, signaling to her.
"General Wen, leave the stage to someone else. Take a break first."
Hearing Young Master Huan call her name, Wen Shiling was instantly overjoyed and immediately agreed again and again.
"Very well, Young Master Huan. Since you have said so, I will not participate in the discussion. I still believe the public sees things clearly. Even without me, someone will surely stand up and clear your name."
With that, Wen Shiling obediently sat down.
It left even Aha feeling a little awkward.
He looked at Yan Huan, then at Wen Shiling. "What's this supposed to mean? You're making it sound like I can't take a joke."
Yan Huan frowned.
"Weren't you the one who said you wanted to ban her?"
Aha retorted,
"Couldn't you at least haggle a little? You accepted the ban so decisively. Are you really that confident your Ai Huan group still has another powerhouse?"
Yan Huan put his hands on his hips and laughed loudly.
"No need. The innocent need no defense. Why would Yan Huan need anyone to clear his name? I was white from the start!"
"Fine. Since you don't have a clear understanding of yourself, I won't waste my breath trying to persuade you."
Aha said to Asta,
"Since we've banned that elementary school kid, I ought to do something too. We have to be fair, after all."
He lightly waved his hand, and shadows shot in like arrows from every corner of the Space Station.
They all gathered in the center of the stage.
"Voidrangers?!" Asta hurriedly retreated to the edge of the stage.
"Heh." Aha smiled. "These new Voidrangers from the Crack Realm have been giving your Space Station quite a headache, haven't they? After the vote is over, this kid will probably have to help you clear them out again. So I'll do a good deed and kill them all for you!"
Aha's gaze sharpened, and countless Voidrangers gathered in the center of the stage screamed as they turned to ash.
The entire process was clean and efficient.
Yan Huan applauded.
"Damn, that's awesome. How did you pull them over here? Teach me."
Aha glanced sideways at him.
"Sure. As long as you admit you're a lunatic, there's no need for a vote. You can become my Emanator directly. I'll teach you this move and throw in a huge amount of Imaginary Energy as a welcome gift. How about it?"
Yan Huan frowned.
"Hah, I already told you, I'm a decent man. My mental state is perfectly healthy, so don't you dare slander me!"
Aha sneered.
"Then there's nothing more to say. The vote will continue. Today, I'm going to make you face reality!"
With that, the two sat down again.
Asta: "..."
March 7th leaned close to Himeko and asked, "Can't the Aeon of Joy forcibly give people power without their consent? Why does he insist on proving Yan Huan is a lunatic?"
Himeko folded her hands on the table, thought for a moment, and explained, "Because it's fun."
March 7th: "..."
Himeko said, "Actually, I'm rather puzzled too. Yan Huan's actions seemed so unreasonable to us, yet Wen Shiling's explanations suddenly made them seem reasonable."
March 7th pouted.
"What's the use of that? She's been banned now. Besides, Yan Huan refusing to admit he's a lunatic is pretty crazy in itself, isn't it? The Aeon of Joy is about to give him power, yet he insists on arguing with him. Isn't that just insanity?"
At that moment, Welt also leaned over and said, "March, I have some ideas about that."
March 7th said, "Then tell me, Uncle Yang."
Welt adjusted his glasses and analyzed,
"Suppose all of Wen Shiling's analyses are correct. What conclusion can we draw?"
March 7th scratched her head.
"A conclusion? What conclusion could there be? At most, it proves he's a normal person."
Welt nodded.
"Exactly. Since he is a normal person, everything he does has a reason. For instance, Yan Huan did not deliberately create a disagreement with the Aeon of Joy. Though he never mentioned it, I believe his true purpose was to avoid accepting Elation's power and becoming his Emanator."
March 7th froze. "Huh? Why? Isn't obtaining powerful strength a good thing? The Aeon of Destruction has already singled him out for death, hasn't he?"
Welt continued his analysis.
"It is true that the Aeon of Destruction wants to kill him, and he must certainly be worried about that. But the question is, can the Aeon of Joy truly be trusted?"
March 7th covered her mouth in surprise.
"Uncle Yang, are you saying—"
"Exactly." Welt nodded. "Yan Huan must be considering matters more deeply. If he rashly allows an Aeon's power into his body, can he truly guarantee that power will entirely belong to him? Will the Aeon of Joy still be able to control that power afterward? If he can, then given the Aeon of Joy's personality, might he one day do something detrimental to Yan Huan? Clearly, Yan Huan has been carefully weighing many such issues."
Himeko smiled and nodded from the side.
"Welt is right. I heard that the Aeon of Joy once gave all his power to an insect, simply to see whether it could eventually enter the Genius Society. After discovering it could not, he decisively withdrew his power. That insect's final death was exceptionally miserable as well."
March 7th suddenly understood.
"Yan Huan actually thought that deeply?!"
Himeko, Welt, and even Dan Heng, who had remained silent and sat quietly all this time, nodded in unison.
March 7th: "..."
Good grief, so she was the only one who couldn't see it.
She had really thought Yan Huan was just out of his mind and insisted on arguing with the Aeon of Joy.
Looking at it this way, he had thought everything through before acting. His brain damage was nothing more than an illusion!
March 7th looked toward Yan Huan in the guest seats. He still wore an utterly unconcerned expression.
She suddenly wondered whether Uncle Yang and the others were reading too much into it.
Yan Huan noticed March 7th staring at him from across the room and asked in confusion,
"What? Why are you staring at me? The restroom is to the right when you go out."
March 7th: "..."
...Were they overthinking this?
